Exactly - Just asking because the smith is always empty and there's usually a wait at the rack.

I know better than to use a smith machine for squating, but while we're on the subject, how about using it for barbell rows?

If you understand most preworkouts are stimulant based and are OK with that than I'd recommend C4. It's what I use before lifting (also has creatine), and seems to have less jitters and crash than others. I use Nuun energy (electrolytes, caffine, and B vitamins) before cardio.

Update: Walked into the gym today and did a double take at the new power cage. So happy; although I'm not sure if my suggestion had anything to do with it (they didn't remove the Smith machine). Of course I went and did some curls in it!
