  • You do look like you've lost more than 30! Also you look so much younger! I can't believe you've lost it all since February! Good job!!!
  • YES! You look incredible!! Love the photo of you with the tire! You're so pretty and fit! Good job!
  • Haha! I wish those were abs! :) I'm afraid it's just chub right now but your comment sure is motivating! Thanks everybody!! Feel free to add me, especially if you have similar goals!
  • Incredible transformation!
  • My only other advice is start SLOW. Jog slow and work on getting to where you can jog one slow mile and work your way up from there - speed will take care of itself.

  • As far that the "this sucks" phase - I run often and still think it sucks for the first 3 miles of most of my runs - after that it's pure bliss.

  • Oh my god you look incredible!! Wow!! That dress! I would not be able to tell these photos are if the same person! You look amazing! Good work!!!!
  • Just being able to move so much more easily! I feel like I'm gliding along now instead of stomping around like Godzilla. My jeans don't make noise when I walk anymore because my thighs don't touch as much. They also aren't getting worn in the thigh area - no more ruined jeans for me!! The other thing is I guess I just…
  • I just recently bought the Polar m400. It does everything I want - tracks sleep, tracks steps, gives an estimated calorie burn for the entire day based on your stats and exercise, has a heart rate monitor with chest strap (the wrist ones are super inaccurate), has GPS for running and it has a great app/syncs with MFP. It…
  • Give this a try: Grande iced coffee with two pumps of sugar free mocha. I used to ALWAYS need milk in my coffee but the sugar free mocha is kind of creamy anyway. Or at least I convince myself it is. I have everyone in my office subbing out their high calorie lattes for this and it's delicious! I try and consume as few…
  • "They don't care about us" - MJ or "Trying to be Cool" - Phoenix are two of my favorites for running and I tend to put those toward the top of my playlist.
  • I have put it in soups in place of heavy cream, have put it in smoothies, eat it with baked apples (with vanilla and cinnamon - yum!!!) eat it with frozen cherries, with granola and cocoa powder, with cinnamon and stevia... The list goes on and on. Anything you want to make creamy, I'd give it a shot. I looooove Greek…
  • Yes!! I'm at around 162 (started at 190) and your height and these pictures are so incredibly motivating!! Good job!! Can't wait to lose another ten pounds - the difference on you is a huge one!! You look really good and healthy.
  • Get on asthma medication!! Once I started using my albuterol 10 minutes before working out and got on inhaler steroids I was able to really work out a lot harder and have no issues now. It a been worth all the money for prescriptions and everything. Living with asthma is so exhausting and exercising with it is basically…
  • I'm around your weight and with my heart rate monitor I burn around 388 for 45 minutes. Super high intensity classes won't get you at high as myfitnesspals estimations. Buy a heart rate monitor. My polar is fantastic.
  • Incredible! Making great time too!!

  • Not sure?!! Wow!!! This is incredible!!!! Goal weights are NOT everything - you look amazing NOW! Enjoying the victories along the way is the best way to keep pushing and you have an incredible victory to celebrate!! Good work!
  • Make it easier on yourself and buy a heart rate monitor. They're pretty accurate and aren't too expensive. It's what I use while cycling because if I'm cycling outside my speed changes too much for that type of calculation. I doubt anyone is able to keep same intensity/same speed for any given amount of time, so the…
  • Wow!! You can definitely tell in your arms and shoulders - much much thinner! Good work! 20 lbs is a lot to lose!
  • Also - if it's too hard, go slower. Slower slower slower. I couldn't run because I was always going too fast - speed will come with more miles, is what I've learned. Worry only about distance until you can get some mileage under your belt, not about mile time.
  • Use the MyAsics app!! I love it. I like it a lot better than c25k, or any other apps I've used. It gives you a great training plan before a race!! Also - I couldn't even run a mile in October and ran a 10k this past weekend - didn't start training really until January. I'd say it's totally possible for you to run 10 miles…

  • I think you look amazing! Good work!! :D I'd say do what you think feels right - I know a lot of us work on body composition once we get down to a happy weight, which I think is a healthy way to go about it - gaining some muscle also helps with maintenance! I know that I would like to lose this last bit of weight and…
  • Hahaha love the name of this discussion - I wish I experienced more of this conundrum. Good luck on getting that booty to grow, grow, grow!!
  • I cycle almost everyday while wearing a heart rate monitor and am only able to burn around 450 in a 45 minute spin class that is very intense. For reference I am 5'2 and 160 lbs. my max heart rate is usually around 175 or so. I would say 400 for half an hoe of moderate cycling is a big over estimate (also depends on your…
  • Spin is really low impact. I spin between anywhere from 45-90 minutes per day on average and am seeing some awesome results. It's hard at first and the classes are meant to challenge you but the resistance control you have allows you to adjust the workout to your level until you can be on par with the lunatics in your…
  • This is nonsense. Meat is so expensive!! Tofu, lentils, vegetables, etc. are so cheap!
  • Some of these comments are so strange!! She can be PERFECTLY healthy being vegan. Good for you for supporting her. Getting protein is not hard as a vegetarian/vegan, getting iron is not hard, getting all the nutrients you need is not hard! With a little bit of research (no more than you'd need for eating healthy normally)…
  • This diet is so so dangerous!! I did it (shots, like an idiot) and while I lost a lot of weight, my hair started falling out and I was so anxious and obsessive all the time I couldn't even stand to be in my own skin. Eating healthy and working out is the best way to go about weight loss - keep your hair, health and sanity.…

  • So I love Diet Coke, but every time I have one, I find that a few hours later I really want something sweet. I haven't experienced this when just drinking sparkling water. My lack of will power already got me at least part way to where I am now so I stay away from the diet soda and just drink water instead.
