Your trainer must not be well trained... Gluten free is a fad diet unless you have been diagnosed with celiac disease. I'd find a new trainer.

It is cream cheese, almond, and pistachio!

I'm really excited about the newFitbit Charge 2. It's on preesale right now.

The camouflage flavor they have been advertisings sounds amazing!

You mentioned eating a lot of lentils. Those are super calorie dense. Edamame is a lot of bang for your buck if you are avoiding eggs. (Egg whites are super low in calories but packed with protein.)

I save about half of my daily calories for the evening. Breakfast is usually really low like about 200 - usually a protein shake with cold brewed coffee in it. I love eating at night. Snack. Snack. Snack.

Look on Pinterest. I always get lots of good ideas there. There are tons of gluten free blogs. I love Gluten Free Goddess, Elana's Pantry, and Gluten Free on a Shoestring.

Mine starts giving me exercise calories at 3000. It totally depends on the setting your activity level in on.

I love sweetened condensed milk in coffee. Used to drink it like that several times a week. Now I hate opening a can and having it in fridge... It is hard for me to moderate myself. Too many calories. I guess I could say cheese made my list but really only because I'd rather have avocados instead.

I regularly budget my calories to have a Snickers or Milky Way Dark. I make cold brew ice tea (0 kcals) sweeten it with Splenda. 300 grams of strawberries with a squeeze of lime and Splenda is only 100 kcals. My cookies and cream protein shake kills my sugar cravings. (Combat protein powder) Halotop ice cream others have…

An egg over easy on a slice of toast.

I lived there for four years and miss it terribly! Are totally flooded right now? I'm in north Phoenix now.

The bigger you are when you start and the older you are the more likely you are to have loose skin. I'm 35 and have lost 70 and there is loose skin despite losing slowly and doing weight training. Loose skin or fears of loose skin are not a reason to stop or even really to worry. Even if you end up with skin issues you…

Teacher. Started school last week!

I used to weigh daily but it was a struggle to not allow my mood to be influenced by the number. Now I rely more on the way my clothes feel and where I am at on my belt notches. I weigh in a couple times a month.

The only thing I'd add that I didn't notice anyone else say is a squeeze of lime juice. I don't log lime juice that I use to season things.
-
I have a Food Safe for totally irresistible items... I tend to avoid buying those items, but if I do I eat a serving and then lock them up. http://www.thekitchensafe.com/

I've been on a big diet ginger ale with a squeeze of lime kick. Mmmmm.

On the go I really like the premixed cartons of Premier Protein. (30 grams of protein and only 160 kcal. Also has a lot of iron in it.) If I have time to blend a shake I like Combat cookies and cream flavor. I like to blend it with ice and some coffee. It tastes good. It is made up of a bunch of different proteins that…

I can get Halo Top here in Phoenix for $4.50 at a local chain, Fry's Market. Mm mm. Fry's also started carrying Creamies. 120 calories of chocolate deliciousness. (Utah people know what these guys are.)

Fitbit is autopilot. It will estimate your calorie burn for activity. When you manually enter calories burned it negates the "autopilot".

I don't shop there for everything but some things are a great deal. A lot of the produce comes in larger quantities for the same price as smaller quantities at the regular grocery store. I buy Brussels sprouts, spinach, sometimes avocados, pineapple, etc there. I get ground turkey there, and often the chicken breasts. One…

I did Weight Watchers for a long time and lost some serious weight but I find MyFitnessPal easier to use. PLUS it's free. Weight Watchers also does not really emphasize balance in my opinion - at least not directly. I like to be able to see my macros. When I did Weight Watchers I found myself trying really hard to maximize…

When I lived near Whole Foods I LOVED their deli. Kung Pow tofu I didn't have to cook myself. Various types of quinoa salad all delicious. Latkes. Gluten free desserts. I actually have Celiac disease and despise the process of finding a decent recipe, buying all of the ingredients, baking the damn thing... Whole Foods has…

It cooks the same as rice. 1 cup of quinoa to 2 cups of water. Quinoa has protein in it. I actually prefer the way that it tastes. You can use it in the same sorts of meals that you use rice in.

I'm a teacher and I do the same thing. I cook everything on the weekend and eat the same breakfast, and lunch all week long. Sometimes dinner is different. Lots of people do this. Balance. Like everyone else has already said. (Are you ready for school to start? I'm soooooo not.)

If you are trying to tone (strengthen and build a little muscle) you probably shouldn't be eating in a calorie deficit in the first place...

I have an aerobic step in my living room. Throughout the day I will use it for five-ten minute chunks of time. (Commercial breaks watching tv in the evening, while I'm straightening and cleaning, anytime I walk through the room, etc.) On days where I am in the house it really boosts my step count.

Some my workout capris and shorts from Target have been fantastic. Despite heavy use they have lasted (a year and a half with weekly washing) and not even gotten pilly from thigh friction.

Breakfast cereals (especially the kids brands) are fortified with iron. Eggs. Beans. Super dark chocolate - check the % . Some chocolate has as much as 40%. When my iron is really low I'll get some liverwurst. I do a lot of cooking on cast iron too.
