When you look at the actual page for the power bowl, they specifically list the olive oil and lemon juice in the detailed ingredients section under the nutrition information, so one would presume that it is included: https://panerabread.com/en-us/featured-menu/power-menu.html#power-mediterranean-chicken-salad. They also…

Stop obsessing over salt. There are some people who have salt-sensitive hypertension, but most people do not. At 500+ pounds, your hypertension isn't likely to be salt-sensitive, or it would have shown up a long, long time ago. You have to start making time to take care of yourself. Cook your food on the weekends and…

Food sabotage implies that they are messing with your food to make it worse for you. Other people have lives too. They can bring in and eat whatever they want. You have to be the big girl and not eat it if it conflicts with your goals. What's next, credit card sabotage because someone brings in a purse from Saks that you…

I don't think the diet, as you've laid it out, makes any sense either.

After awhile, you will just have the conversions memorized. In the meantime, however, just Google grams to ounces, teaspoons to tablespoons, etc. A calculator will pop up where you can enter the one number and have it spit out the other number for you.

You have a long road ahead of you. If you are antsy, you will be miserable and possibly fail. If, however, you can make peace with it and accept the ride, you will be successful in both the short and long term. There is no need to cross your fingers. You, alone, hold the keys to your success. You absolutely can do it - the…

What a wonderful story. Congratulations to you for your hard work and perseverance!

I can't answer our medical questions, but I just wanted to say keep pushing forward. It will be a long journey for you, but you can do this, and you'll be very happy once you do.

It would help if you could open your diary so we can see what you're eating.

Your neighbor is a moron, and I'm sorry you have to live next to her.

You appear to still have a good amount of fat under there. Strength training plus slow weight loss will get you to where you're trying to be.

Nah, we're just having fun with you; it's important to be as diligent and accurate as possible - at least within reason. The big question is where to draw that line. I liked the person who suggested you walk once around the house and call it even. :)

Did you actually read her post? It's much more than a "single bark". The neighbor who called about the barking "usually speaks with her husband" about it. That means the barking is a chronic issue, which is further proven by the fact that the neighbor "threatened the ordinance", which means it's persistent enough that he…

Your dog sounds super annoying. You don't get to inconvenience the whole neighborhood just so you can have the faux security of having something make noise everytime something triggers your "security light".

The first step to not having a blah salad is not having a blah dressing. Are you trying to buy your salads from stores, fast food places, and restaurants, or are you making them (and the dressing)? If you're trying to buy them premade, then it's pretty easy to see why you're sick of them.

If you stop drinking the soda for a week or so, your headaches will disappear. Drinking it to keep from having headaches is pretty ridiculous.

The Arch Deluxe was my favorite thing they've ever had too! I was so surprised when they got rid of it. I'm glad they did though, I haven't had a reason to go to McDonald's in years. :)

I agree that skating is awesome. I love it (inline), but I seem to be in the minority these days. To me, it's like a low impact version of running. :)

Japchae is pretty awesome, as long as you're not doing low carb: http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/japchae

Saturated fats are not the devil. Are the things you're reading AHA pamphlets from 1985? Ah, nevermind, I see I have wasted my time in responding to you.

My advice is that if you want to be active, then get off your couch and be active. If you want to start living and seeing the world, then start living and seeing the world. These things have nothing to do with a weightloss surgery, and weightloss surgery isn't going to fix them.

4 lbs in 3 months is 153.85 extra calories a day. A can of coke has 140 calories. It's pretty easy to do.

Once a week for me.
