From the pages of weirder of NSV's: I store my swiffer beside the fridge and have to stick my foot back there sometimes to grab the handle with my toes to fish it out...the other day my whole leg fit down the side with no problem and I was like...yay me!!

Yes, I'm glad for all of the support in MFP and forums- thank you everyone for speaking and offering great ideas
How can you see it sorry I'm new
In your settings it will ask if you want to keep your food diary private or "only friends" or public , you'll need to change it there . BTW I personally have a hard time "going" and I fell into the trap of increasing my fiber immediately to meet my goal # and did not GO…
-
Probably means that you've increased the fiber in your diet too quickly or you aren't eating enough? I can only guess without more info or seeing your food diary

I would tell myself: "your body can and will do amazing things, take good care of it and love yourself enough to respect it in all it's forms".
-
I think that's a great idea, but my question is, aren't you going to use sweetener in it? I'm a gingerale lover so I switched to diet when I started following MFP. I got leery with all the chemical talk, so I started just putting a glug every so often when the craving hits into my water bottle. Water isn't as boring and I…

Any virgins trying to lose their baby weight?- I was like : ok, oxymoron? ;)

I got a FitBit recently and logged nearly 17K on my first day at work! I'm on staycation this week so it's definitely motivating to move more to keep up, I haven't hit 10K at all this week. Add me if you like on FitBit @ scoandmur@hotmail.com

My A-Ha moment came on the cusp of taking the Sober for October challenge along with my husband and the friends who suggested we do it- no booze for 31 days, and why not try to eat better while we're at it? So we pushed the "rules" even further at our house and said NO to purchasing any type of fast food/take out for the…

Hi, I'm Marie I'm in Hamilton Ontario Canada. I find MFP is a great tool to help you change your lifestyle, it's inspiring and supportive. I hope you have all of the success you imagine with your health and happiness :D Add me if you like!

So what if your new goal was to change your measurements? You're lifting so set a number for your biceps/chest/quads- and don't forget the calfs on leg day! Besides then you can adjust your macros for something to do B)
-
If you open your Diary maybe I can help give you some ideas? I'm a carb craver at night when I haven't had enough protein or fiber to fill me in the day. What is your lifestyle activity level and loss goal per week set to? I have a feeling if you up your (protein and) calories at breakfast by 100, add 100 more at lunch and…

If you're craving red meat, have a lean cut of steak- satisfy your craving and keep at it! I listen to my cravings, no sacrifices but making better choices is giving me great satisfaction . Lifestyle not diet :)

This entire thread- and then this. LMAO
Count me in since 3 other people will be bringing desserts.
LOL! I was just thinking that!!

It's a bit much at first but it gets easier and quicker once you've gotten a couple of weeks of food in your diary to choose from ;)

Welcome :) I've been following MFP since October 2014! It's a great resource for so many things, have a look at the boards. My best tip to tell you at the start would be to make sure you log everything you put in your mouth- it takes some time to get started but it makes you accountable for your food/drink choices :) Best…

I think your carbs are a bit low, and getting this much closer to your goal weight- input your loss at zero (maintenance) info and have a look at what mfp suggests for those macros? Advice I have seen suggests high protein % in maintenance only f you are initiating a muscle building program. - let us know how its going! :)
-
Have you re-evaluated your goals/reinput them at any time since you started? Perhaps until you begin losing again you need to change up your activity level and your calories! I did adjust at my plateau not long ago- I adjusted to lose more slowly (1lb/week) and my calories went up by 230 and I began losing again. My other…

I understand where you would not trust the program at the start but I hope you will learn to, and sometimes take a beat before deciding what is best advice from the boards for your lifestyle :) I did enter my info when MFP prompted me at -10lb, and I got more calories! Sure enough I continued to lose weight, and when I hit…

You can't go wrong with MFP if you are real with your settings: log all of your food/alcohol and with eating back only 30-50% of your exercise calories earned- input all of your data and eats, you'll do great!! Might as well save yourself the mind games ;) That being said I never log coffee and rarely lettuce...but that's…
-
LOL I don't log my coffee either, I do log my beer/wine/spirits though!
-
I am so pleased with my progress since October 2014 all along with great support on MFP and my family - I can always use more positive support and I'm happy to give the same! SW 203 CW 169 CGW 165 UGW good fitting jeans sans muffin top :) Add me! @scoandmur

I didn't realize until I started with mfp how much I needed to eat snacks between every meal- like all week, every day. Before I would aimlessly eat bad calories and/or cram in a whack of carbs before bed because I was "hungry". I took some advice and made sure I began pre-planning about 300 calories per day in snack food-…

This! Thanks so much :)
-
That's a fantastic motto!

I lost 2+ lbs a week at that weight! Once I got within 5 lbs of my goal I adjusted my settings, it made sense to "step up" my calories to begin getting ready for maintenance life :) Good luck!
