From my original post I meant "die hard" as the ones who gave up drinking completely. Die hard to the cause of remaining AF. Maybe this is why I couldn't figure out why you thought is was funny either, lol But anyways, way to stay strong with diluting your drinks, that's an awesome idea!

Had my limited intake last night. Waited until 9 pm to even think about a drink and after eating dinner. What a difference it makes. I think I actually moderated. This is more like it. The break is making me think more clearly about everything. Onward through February this way with no over drinking and no hangovers!

8/8 I thought for sure hubs would stop and pick a bottle since it’s Thursday. I had been mentally preparing myself the whole ride home from running how I wasn’t going to be tempted. I’m happy to report the he didn’t! Day 3 for him now!

7/7 I’m feeling accomplished again today. Hubs decided to stay sober again with me this evening! Week nights before were always ruled by will I workout or not. Well depended on what time I wanted to start drinking. I noticed more and more in the last year, I would start drinking earlier and earlier to where my workout…

6/6 here and going strong. Major victory this evening by going to grocery store with my hubs and as I passed by the liquor department he followed me. Neither of us saying anything just continuing to get the rest of the groceries!

I noticed this too and wondered the same thing. I do see a lot of women on here are like me, in the fact that their partner drinks too and the ladies are quitting while the men continue. Maybe women are more apt to reach out for help, then hoping our men will follow us.

Day 3 of 3 dry here! Even went out with friends to a pub. Everyone else ordered microbrewery beer and I had water! Win!! Didn’t even miss it this while everyone else was chugging away! Here’s to a beautiful Sunday morning everyone!

Made it through Day 2 and it’s even a Friday evening. Hubs drank and I just watched. Felt good to not want to be asleep by 9 pm. Looking forward to a great morning again, I have to get up at 5 am so this makes it soooo much easier. Until tomorrow AF friends!
