What kind of medical condition did you find out you have?? If you need to follow a general healthful diet, simply add more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to your diet. Stay away from excessive amounts of saturated fats which come from animals and increase the unsaturated fats that come from nuts, seeds, avocados,…

Treadmill because I can run for longer distances and is less impacting on my knees. I do like running outside occasionally, but if it's too hot or humid I know I will be walking more than running.

Those who have 18% body fat are athletes. You don't necessarily have to lose weight now. If you still eat healthy and lots of lean proteins/complete amino acids everyday while hitting the gym you should be able to get there. Weights need to be lifted. Alternate days between arms, legs, back, abs, etc. Good luck!

The numbers on here are also defaulted. You can customize the goals you want to meet on your macros and micros. Everyone has a different goal, such as myself. I want most of my calories to come from fat and protein. I don't want to go over 65 grams of carbs in a day which also limits my sugar intake to 20g or less a day.…

Don't get disappointed, just continue the diet. I'm on the same diet and I probably weigh myself more than I should, but I see fluctuations like that as well. Then I lose it back with an additional pound. I read somewhere that low carb diets cause constipation. A backed up colon could be another reason. No grains or fruit…

Hi, you can go online and search the Harris Benedict equation and based on your basal metabolic rate you can determine how many calories you need daily to maintain weight. Then if you're trying to lose weight subtract it by 500; for 500 times 7days equals 3500 which is equal to a pound. Double this to aim for a 2lb…

Yes I am doing this too. It's too keep our bodies in ketosis so that when the little glucose frim carbs that we have for fuel goes straight to the brain. Our body is then forced into breaking down fat for energy. You are doing right. It's supposed to be like 50-150 grams of carbs a day no more. No sugar, no fruit, bread,…
