Husband is working nights so I'm on my own tonight! I walked/jogged a half marathon on the treadmill, ate a good dinner, and now it's Netflix time until my eyelids get heavy.

WOW! You look like a new person, and you look GREAT! Congratulations on your immense success.

YES! I am 40 lbs down and can see a big difference in my face. I love it! I never knew I had cheekbones

Good luck! Just hang on to that motivation even when the scale is not saying what you want it to. It's not always easy but boy is it worth it. I've been here about 6 months and am halfway to my goal. I recommend tracking your progress with pics because it REALLY helps to look back and see how far you have come, and see the…

I very much prefer my treadmill. I am extraordinarily uncoordinated and feel awkward on the elliptical. It's just a matter of preference though.

The only remotely weird thing that happened to me through online dating was a guy who literally fed himself like he was a momma bird feeding its babies. He threw his head back and dangled the food over his mouth before eating it. It was truly disgusting. Thankfully that was my first and final online dating experience…

The fact that you didn't quit is really most important and very admirable! I started couch to 5k a few months back and had to quit around week 5 or so due to some health problems. I am starting again with couch to 10k and the first half of it is the couch to 5k program. I'm going to send you an FR, I'm doing day 2 tonight!

YES fitness blender! I owe 90% of my fitness achievements to their amazing videos. It is without a doubt one of my best discoveries!

Just remember that even if it was weighing you lighter than reality, it was still measuring your loss. You've still lost the same amount most likely, but your starting weight and current weight might each be 8 lbs heavier. I have already put some thought into this because I bought a new scale and it's coming Monday and I…

I went shopping today for a dress to wear to a friend's baby shower tomorrow... and everything fit so I couldn't decide what to buy! lol. It was a good feeling.

Nugo Nutrition bar- dark chocolate chocolate chip. Yum! I love hose.

Everyone here is going to respond by telling you that you don't need to cut down on sweets unless you have a medical reason why, and you should fit these foods into your calorie goals because everyone should have some treats. I agree with that, because you will lose as long as you're at a deficit. BUT, assuming you are…

If I was a movie title, my tagline would be the title of your post. Seriously. I eat really light meals to try and compensate, because most nights I cannot resist. I try to stick to a 200 calorie-ish breakfast (read: protein bar or similar), and sometimes the same at lunch (usually a veggie salad, sometimes with some…

You are awesome and look beautiful! Best of luck with your future goals, I'll definitely keep you in my prayers as you continue your journey!

Rather than asking for opinions, just get started! Even though you probably won't hit that magic number, you'll be making great progress by then. Figure out your calorie goal, and hit it! You could easily (well ok not easily, but reasonably and healthfully) be down 20 lbs in that time period. Good luck!

Thank you all! :)

I incorporate chocolate into breakfast so those calories count toward a meal and a chocolate craving haha. I have a chocolatey protein bar for breakfast almost every morning. Sometimes I also have a chocolatey snack in the afternoon or after dinner. Chocaholics unite! :)

Make a plan. Don't buy things that tempt you to overdo it. Allow treats that fit within your goals. Replace the things you're wanting to avoid with other things that are lower-cal.

Lol I love this!! Thank you!!

Thank you all so much :)

I'm ready!!! Let's do this!

Thank you all! I appreciate the encouragement :) You guys are awesome.

That was fun! Accurate? eh maybe. But still fun.

Thank you!!!

Also.... motivation doesn't happen on accident. Sure, once you create some healthy habits and get used to eating an appropriate number of calories, etc. you do get accustomed to it, but it's a daily commitment to say the least!

I found this out too! I got married almost 2 years ago and I was blissfully happy on my wedding day (and still am) but I can see how uncomfortable I was even though I didn't fully recognize it yet. Thankfully my highest weight came around my 1st anniversary, so it's not immortalized in photos forever. For me: 1.…

I'd recommend red raspberry leaf tea or supplements (red raspberry leaf, not the ketones), they make a huge difference in pain level and PMS symptoms. I have especially bad periods for a diagnosed but non-repairable condition, so I have to find a way around using it as my excuse. Using a stationary bike isn't so bad while…

woohoo look at those cheekbones! You are looking great, congratulations on your progress!

You look awesome!! Look at how far you have come, and remember how great you feel and look when you're on track! Don't beat yourself up too hard though, everyone gets in a rut every now and again. Since December, I have had 2 family members pass away and have been struggling with getting a couple health issues of my own…

Calorie deficit is the path to weight loss, but one still needs to consume enough to carry out basic bodily processes. OP, I am 5'0", vegetarian, 168 lbs, and I eat about 1250/day and have consistently lost 1.5-2 lbs almost every week since October. My carbs hover around 100 most days, and usually stay under 200, but I…
