Turmeric or Curcumin is great imo. I currently take it as a supplement daily. Turmeric aborbs best with pepper (so add a peppercorn!)

Thank you, jazmin220. And amazing job on your weight loss while practicing moderation :)

Not true I have a bigger frame with broad shoulders. And I gain muscle easily because of that. BMI says I'm borderline overweight but my fat percentage is normal to low actually

Ending my bulk season so YES but they fit when I'm very lean haha. They need to be snug when I'm lean too.
-
yes, that's what I do :) Eat about 1 gram per lb of body weight protein, see how you feel

Booty gains seen from the front is quite adequate imo lol.

I had a "slow metabolism" and was "overweight" but cutting out carbs was not the solution for me. I improved my insulin response and body comp while eating more carbs. So no, I wasn't metabolically blessed before and no, carbs did not affect me negatively. Macronutrient balance ftw.

love the red lip and hair :)

If you can get your body-fat and lean muscle measured maybe by a high-quality scale or bodpod , etc that's the best way to track it imo. My BMI says I'm borderline overweight and I'm about 18 percent body fat and quite a bit of muscle.

Sometimes I'm so technologically inept at my (what I still consider lol) young age that I seriously sometimes think things like changing my profile pic now would not change my previous posts that had a different profile pic :|

Try to distinguish between physical hunger (you many need to eat more now!) or emotional hunger or just the munchies (God I hate that word! lol).

Working on some late night posing last night, tired but happy, also counts as cardio imo haha

Fats are evil! No carbs are the devil! Too much protein will also kill you! How about moderation? A balance? Something that will make you feel energized, healthy, and give you results at the same time? Carbohydrates help me with energy, fats balance my hormones and help with muscle building, protein also a major building…

Welcome :) While I don't have social anxiety or depression, I was close to this at one point in my life and exercise especially weight-lifting helped me tremendously. Embracing my ability to gain muscle and not focusing on my body in terms of how skinny I looked or comparing myself to model-thin people also helped…

I would look into researching a little about your calorie need and macronutrient breakdown (generally 40%carbs 40%protein 20%fats is a starting point but people are different and respond differently. I personally eat 45%carbs, 35% protein, 25% fats of my whole calories). And you may want to try slowly increasing your…

Well, that is probably your body's way of telling you that is too low. Rarely does a person have to eat 1200 calories..especially if you are exercising..your metabolism will not thank you for it. Do you get enough protein? Fats? Carbs? Is it mostly one thing or the other? Signs of undereating..obsessing about food, hunger…

Getting some help from a professional to show correct form during exercises, then promising myself that I will have to go to the gym whether I liked it or not every other day (so if I work out today..yea! I don't have to go tomorrow!). And then eventually, I started liking it. Embrace the suck, you're probably not going to…

When your starting cals are low, there is little room to continue decreasing them and much harder to get results because your body is used to maintaining on the calories you're eating. For myself, I found I had to slowly increase my calories to what I never thought possible in order to repair my metabolism. However, at the…

Thank you disasterman, I guess I will just put it here, I weigh 158 lb (my normal, but according to BMI I'm 24.7 almost overweight there!) lol

AHH MY PIC was gigantic fixed it.

I always add either hummus or salsa. Or beans and salsa with cooked quinoa or rice (I like easy as you can see lol).

Unfortunately you may be losing a lot of muscle if you lose very rapidly. And it seems like your diet does not have enough protein. Of course, it depends on what kind of exercise you do (doing yoga, you may not need as much protein as weight-training or high-intensity exercise, for instance). Try increasing your protein a…
