This. My dog takes a Denamarin which is a combination of silybin and S-Adenosylmethionine, because his liver was failing. Got his enzyme levels back to normal and got him eating normally again. He's put on 10 lbs lol.

So you're basically eating 500 calories/day? That's why you feel like crap. Eat the 1200 and eat back at least part of your exercise and you'll feel better.

This is also not an issue with Nexus devices, they are the first devices updated since there are no carrier or manufacturer added applications.
-
If you're not a fan of all the pre-installed software from Samsung get a Nexus device. They are the basic Android interface which is much easier to use than Touchwiz, IMO.

I've had the popped knee multiple times, it's great compared to a kidney stone.

If you can start the program on a treadmill it will help, everyone has a tendency to try to go too fast and the treadmill will help keep you at a steady slow pace.

We just got a quote for setting up a new weight room for the university I work for, large enough for 15-20 people. Roughly 1000sq ft. with 4 racks, bars, plates, 4 plate loaded machines, dumb bells, medicine balls, etc. With the flooring and platforms it was roughly $65,000. Commercial treadmills run around $6000,…

Talk to your doctor about when to start rehab.

This. It's much easier to press a button on the watch than to carry your phone. I favor the Garmin line myself.

Current drivers are an 03 Wrangler, 98 Cherokee and a 11 Durango. Would love to have a 46-57 Dodge Power Wagon, Willys Pickup, or Jeep Gladiator pickup.

I like the Nike Dri-Fit socks and they aren't terribly expensive.

I have the Garmin Forerunner 15, basically it's the 25 without Bluetooth. I had a Fitbit Flex before and my wife has a Charge. In my experience the Garmin quality is far above Fitbit, my Flex had battery issues once under warranty and got the Garmin when it died out of warranty, went through 2 bands, and my wife has had…

To be fair with everything else around there it's understandable you'd miss it. One of my running buddies turned to look for someone and ran into a tree, still makes me chuckle.
-
You could have started it before, I started at 250. I use and still use RunDouble. It will tell you when to walk and when to jog, just go slow and repeat days/weeks if you feel you need to. http://www.rundouble.com/home

I would personally shorten your run time to 15-20 minutes. Above 100°F the chance of heat stroke rises quickly.

Fitbit doesn't agree with the the calorie burn MFP/MapMyEtc set so it's trying to adjust for it. So let's say MFP says you burned 500, Fitbit disagrees and thinks you only burned 300 so it will adjust -200 so it likes the numbers. Basically negative adjustments give Fitbit control to change the calorie burn to what it…

Yes, I'm 2" shorter, started at 250 and am down to 181 on 2000/day and run 3-4 days a week.
-
My Garmin can go a week or so using the GPS usually 3 times. The Fitbit Flex I had was similar until the battery started to give out and my wife's Charge is also about a week.

The Sony ones like these work very well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BN0N08K/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1458852009&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=sony+headphones&dpPl=1&dpID=41KBfJ-hPkL&ref=plSrch

Garmin Forerunner 15, does steps and has GPS tracking built in. Charges and syncs via USB to your computer and can be found for under $100.
-
30 minutes is plenty, like mentioned watch your calories. A year and a half ago I was 250lbs and couldn't run a 1/4 mile. I started out with C25K and typically run 30 minutes 3-4 days a week and today I'm 182 and my best 5k race so far was 25:58.

There's nothing wrong with heel striking unless you're overextending your stride. Shin splints aren't caused by heel striking but your shoes could be an issue depending on what type of gait you have. If you are a new runner both shin splints and running out of breath quickly can be linked to trying to go too fast too soon.…

Pretty much any of the Forerunner series should work. If you'd like Bluetooth connectivity the 25 is the cheapest model that has it.

This is what I use since I'm not a fan of the sweetener aftertaste either. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QQA0MF6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then I hope I never get it because that was painful enough. Hope you have a quick recovery.

I had bursitis in my knee and it took probably 2 months before it went away completely. Nothing special besides icing when it flared up.
-
I've found nothing better than http://www.gmap-pedometer.com for pre planning a route. It's not 100% accurate but is pretty close.

Look for a couch to 5k program.

I like my Garmin, HR strap and watch will pair together so there's no need to carry a phone and the watch has built in GPS.
