I do have my Fitbit linked but I never eat the calories from it. I don't trust it. If you have changed your activity level with MFP that will change how many calories you receive. I have also noticed that the earlier in the day I sync the more I seem to receive. I suggest only using it for information purposes and don't…

I consumed whatever MFP told me to consume. At the end I was down to 1200. I just put in that I wanted to lose one pound a week and let MFP set my goals. I watched my macros but I wasn't obsessive about them.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I used the calorie goals that MFP assigned me. I never played with them myself. At the end I was at 1200. Now that I am at maintenance I am at 1590.

We had a really small lawn and I couldn't mow it without my blood pressure spiking really high. I was scared I was going to have a stroke. I wasn't scared of death but I was scared of living…

They always have goodies in my office. One day the one girl brought me a piece of her birthday cake. She is very sensitive so there really was no way to say no. I told her I would eat it at lunch. At lunch I slipped out the back door and threw it in the dumpster. It is a really hard thing to do. I have no room in my diet…

I lost my first 50 lbs without exercise. It took me about 5 or 6 months to do that. After that I hit a wall, I couldn't drop anymore. I had to start exercising at that point. I hated exercising too but I found after losing that weight exercise wasn't as bad as it had been. Just stay committed to your diet change and you…

I have been using MFP for about a year now. I have lost over 50lbs so far. I am new to the website and forums. I am looking for friends who are committed and dedicated to the program. I would prefer female friends. Are there any Canadian's out there? I have a 78 day streak at the moment. I am closing in on my first goal.…
