For me I actually gained weight around week 3 - 4. Pissed me off to say the least, but I then started to lose weight. I was just running at the time. If i were you I would jump on the scale once month.

First i would talk to a dietitian find out how many calories you should be consuming. I'm sure you see them at work everyday. Once you find out go into the setting place that amount. You just have to keep with it, getting up earlier was a hassle, now I get up that time everyday eat go to the gym. It may get old some mornings but I still do it. When i don't the day just doesn't seem right.

I run after work when the humidity is still up there. my legs feel like my feet are in concrete from time to time. You do get use to it after awhile. I agree don't wear cotton shirts, that's an extra 5 pounds you don't need.
