I have a service near my work that delivers prepared food, although some is cooked. However, I do think there are raw options. Maybe if you dig you can find someone like that near you? I was honestly suprised such a thing existed in Shreveport, LA. In the south, the word "vegan" is akin to the f-bomb.

I have tried (unsuccessfully) for 3 days. Today is my official 1st day. I bought stuff to meal prep with (need to do actual prep, though) and have a couple friends who have been vegan for 6 months or so. Very excited!!

whoo! Kidding aside, I'm thinking about doing this. My husband is a pain in the *kitten* when I try to "convert" as he feels like we will miss out on stuff together. But I'd like to try to at least go vegetarian and maybe do like a "vegan til 4" sort of approach, since I am still an omnivore.

Thanks everyone! All very sound advice. I guess I'm scared of looking at those numbers on the scale, but weighing is probably the easiest data to obtain without having the struggle with the tape measure and what not.

wow that's great! I'm 180 and I want to lose like 45 lbs. in a month I have a vacation so this looks like a great way to make some improvement before then. I know I cant lose 45 lbs, or even 15 lbs before then. But the definition look fantastic.
