Do you train with weights as well? I find if I lengthen my weights circuit I can cut the cardio down to a minimum (around 20-30mins of intervals), makes me feel stronger, more energetic and helps me lose weight faster than hammering the treadmill for hours on end.

Be careful of sucralose and stevia, they aren't aspartame but they give me horrible spots.

I'm in the same boat as you I think, eating my own version of a Keto Diet; low carb high fat and protein. I feel great, not trying to lose much but I feel a lot firmer and I have loads of energy! avocados? I use those to up my fat intake without adding carbs. They are also delicious and you can put them in salads or just cut them in half and put some pepper on!
