Been logging in consistently since start of year, which is an accomplishment in itself for me. Haven't weighed myself since the start though because I don't want to be discouraged if scale hadn't moved.

Hi! I'm new to this thread. Pushing 50 and facing challenges with weight and motivation. Y'all seem very friendly and inspiring and I look forward to participating and improving my health with you.

It's smooth on the bottom. I have it on an old rug. Do not use without a mat or rug on top of wood floor. The carpet in my other rooms is so old it wouldn't matter!

I think the key will be varying movement to keep it interesting. I plan to add hand weights later. I usually twist in it, sometimes pulling more to one side to rotate in a circle. Also wobble it to side for outer legs.

I use it while watching TV. Titanic about wore me out! Beats sitting and eating junk food. Too early to tell if working but kinda fun.

I also was in an accident last year - struck by a car as s pedestrian. I'm thankful to be so much better now, but the weight piled on while I was restricted (broken leg and concussion) and then I got in sedentary habits. Yoga has been incredibly helpful in my physical and mental recovery.

I'm 48 and feeling stuck after a challenging 2016. I'm looking to give and receive support in my journey to improved health. Trying to make it less about the number on the scale and even appearance. I just need to feel lighter and better.
