I like spin classes. I am not doing it for the weight loss but doing it for fun. I am in a caloric deficit to lose weight (eat less than I burn), everything else is for fun.

I just use 5 calories per minute if I'm working moderately or 10 calories per minute if I'm working super hard (drenched in sweat). Alternatively, you can buy a heart rate monitor and taking the guessing out of it
