@200Karen awww, what a cute snowman! @Becky_Mastne Great reasoning for pursuing your health. I could never do Keto again because I love cereal too much and strongly dislike vegetables. I did try it many years ago and I did lose weight temporarily but was miserable. Everyone gets there is their own way though.…

Good morning!! I am happy that I did manage a tiny loss. Only 0.4 lbs but I’ll happily take it. My focus right now is just on eating better foods and finding ways to get my nutrients in so that I don’t get this sick again. I think I will have to add some vitamins because I am well below the daily recommended amounts for…

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well and if you aren’t well, I hope you are very soon. I’ve had bronchitis for 3 months now but I am not going to let it deter me from working toward my goals. My goals for the week were to not drink any soda and to not eat any deep fried foods which I am happy to report I was…

Ooooo, I love Italian Wedding soup. It is always sold out at the grocery store I go to so I rarely get it. I will have to learn how to make it. True

If the person has no hobbies, if they refuse to be vulnerable in any way, if money and status are the driving forces behind every decision, if they don’t communicate well and only talk about superfluous topics, if they don’t give back to the community in some way, if they are overly religious and try to convert others, if…

Reached my first milestone that I allowed myself a treat day. The milestone was 225 lbs because when I went to Costa Rica that was the weight limit for much of the fun activities. I am going to St. Lucia next April and want to be fit and able to participate in anything I want. I changed my goal from 25lbs to 30lbs since I…

Happy Thursday All!! I am about two thirds of the way to my goal and thinking I may change my goal Back to 30 like I originally was going to. I’ll give it another couple of weeks before I decide. I like to take it one food choice at a time and think about it as an individual experience and make a conscious choice to eat something on the healthier side. Kind of like taking life one day at a time. It’s hard and this method may not be for you because different things work for different people. It is just forcing…

Wow, there is a lot of great activity on here and lots of posts to be inspired by. It was a good week with a 2lb loss but I really need to get back into walking again. I stopped when we had constant rain but we are starting to have more days without it. Best wishes and health to you all!! SW: 294.6 April 1 SW: 249.8 May 6…

I am in the lockdown as well in Ontario and my daughter (who is 22 and doesn’t live with us) was diagnosed with COVID this week along with her boyfriend so I am glad in a way for the lockdown. I hadn’t visited with her in about 4 weeks and I have had my first shot so I am confident we are fine at my house but still we may…

It was another week of fluctuations but I ended up losing about 3 lbs and passing my 50 lbs lost milestone! That is about one third of the weight I am targeting to lose overall. Woot! I see some great numbers from others on here as well and see that I am not the only one who battles the fluctuations on a daily basis. We…

Hello All! I see we have some new members so welcome to you all and best wishes on your journey. I’ve been fluctuating all week but ended up with a small loss so at least I am heading in the right direction. @frankwbrown I agree with you about avoiding added sugars as much as possible. I feel much better without it since I cut out soda, and candy etc. I watched a documentary about it and it was very compelling. I can’t remember if it was ‘Fed Up’ or another one but again it was really good.
