Week 6 day 3 done

My garmin tracks all day. I think I'm set for active/somewhat active (I think is what gave me a 1620 goal which I adjusted to 1600). If I drop to sedentary it sets my goal to 1200, which I feel is actually a bit to low for me. I am steadily losing weight right now, but can't seem to wrap my head around the fancy math MFP…

Forgot to thank you all for the replies. Update: Saw my Dr today, and my "lower carb" diet and exercise has managed to bring my A1c from 10.1 to 5.4 in 3 months. He also reduced my Metformin, and I asked him what he thought of LCHF diets, and his reply was low carb is the way to go, and if my fat intake goes up in the…

Week 5 Day 3 is in the books....again.

FWIW, when I was diagnosed T2 a few months ago I was told aim for 45g of carbs (total, not net) for each of 3 meals and 20g carbs for each of 2 snacks per day. This was supposed to help keep things level and not bouncing high and low. That said, I have lowered my carb intake well beyond that (nowhere near the keto people…

Glucerna bars work for me if I'm in a pinch and need something now.

Mine is doing the same thing once or more a week. I don't enter my weight in anything but MFP but it continues to auto add (usually my last weight) which I have to keep deleting (this also causes it to show up in Garmin Connect, and I have to delete it from there as well).

Amy, are you sure you have the valve set to pressure and not just running with it open?

I completed it last year and then fell off the wagon and didn't run at all for months. I'm on round 2 now, and yes, week 5 is when your will power gets tested, but its doable.....tomorrow is week 5 day 2 for me. The best advice I was given the first time through was to never look at the time.

I made it through last year but fell off the wagon and didn't run all summer. I'm on my second go round and tomorrow is week 5 day 2. I use Zen Labs.

I have noticed a lag time of a few minutes some times. I have also noticed that if they don't show on the mobile app, and I log in on the web then they magically show up in the mobile app.

I have a Power Pressure Cooker XL (also 2 stove top cookers), but would have bought a Instant Pot if anyone local would have had one when I needed it (main reason being the stainless pot). I like and use them all but the electric is definitely easier to use since you don't have to monitor and adjust heat to make it happy.…

Can they go to the gym with you? My little ones will on occasion, but not very often. I only go to the gym every other day and they know that, so if I'm gone today we can do something tomorrow......for the most part it works out OK. I have to workout after supper though, so i do feel a bit guilty missing their bedtime. I…

Have you tried lowering your protein intake? I didn't realize how little we actually need, and somewhere I read that when your body gets too much protein your liver basically turns it into sugar which can stall weight loss. I'm no expert and cant say if that is actually true or not, but it made sense when I read it. If I'm…
