 Congrats!!! I echo the suggestion to talk to your doctor. I did, used the babyfit.com site for food ideas, and logged here. Keep in mind that your job is to grow a healthy baby now! Best wishes

Cross-country skiing now!

They will have a dress code - don't worry about sweat and bring your water bottle and a towel.

Wahoo - I started archery with a compound bow nine years ago (when I met my husband). I spent two years target shooting and then added hunting. Unfortunately I have not picked up my bow since we moved to Montana - busy having children. But we are done now and I hope to pick it up in the spring!

Interesting. I would definitely go back to your Dr., explain and see if there is something better. I don't take anything at the moment....as of Monday this week. For the last 12 years I have either taken the pill, Metformin, or have been pregnant. We are done having children and my Dr. says, "Well, let's take you off…

Yes, 1% milk per my RD's instructions. It does really taste good and my brain feels like there is chocolate in my life, preventing a trip through the candy aisle!
-
Ok, I'll bite. I just started the workout Monday. I am doing the lean version. I cannot afford the recovery drink, so I am using 8 oz of chocolate milk, measured and mixed myself.

I mix Benefiber in ONE of my glasses of water for the day. It is enough of an addition to go along with the other natural foods with fiber. It mixes pretty easy and has absolutely no taste. But again, most of your fiber should come from the foods you eat!

Polar F4 w/chest strap. I have had it since 2004, with only needing to change the batter in the watch twice. Easy to use and tracks everything I need. Chest strap is no bother!

Great job on your loss so far! I did peak at your diary, just a couple of days, and I would suggest adding more lean protein. You do have some, but only a significant amount usually in one meal. You may notice a big difference in eating some protein at every meal. Keep it up!

I had our second child in Feb. as well, and he was my second C-section. I know that with our first, I had gone through quite a bit of labor before being whisked away for a C. With the second, we opted for the C and planned it due to my previous history and a few other factors. I have noticed that I have healed more quickly…

Olive oil and non-stick spray are my favorites for cooking....Mrs. Dash, explore your spice cupboard!!!

First of all - CONGRATS on such an accomplishment, but with the half-marathon and your weight loss!! I would go talk to your local running store....with your shoes. They may have a better sock recommendation and/or you may be having a shoe issue. There is some stuff called BodyGlide that I have used before too. Blisters…

I have Wii Sports and Wii FitPlus. As others have said, it may not give you a hard workout over time. I use mine more in the winter when it is hard to get outside, and I use it as a warm up - pairing it with a workout DVD, resistance band workout, or bike downstairs (on a trainer). It is fun, something different...which is…

HRM is the way to go!

No, but I cannot wait until I do!

I only wear it to track my exercise calories - during cardio only

1 cup of flour is 128 g http://allrecipes.com/HowTo/Cup-to-Gram-Conversions/Detail.aspx Happy tortilla-making!
-
I have been watching on Ebay too....I would suggest keeping an eye on where the seller is from - that will cut down the chances of something fraudulent.
-
Dipping the tortillas might be in an effort to warm/soften to aid rolling. I am just guessing, I had a friend recommend putting corn tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds so that they wouldn't crumble so much.

You won't even know the strap is there!

I have added an Exercise in my Exercise tab and called it DVD. I wear a HRM and then enter the time and calories burned from it. That way I can use the DVD entry for whatever disc I choose to use.

Congrats!!! I would call your Dr. and ask. I had been losing weight and then got pregnant. While I was nowhere near a goal weight of any kind, my Dr. advised me to keep my calorie intake the same (it was 1800 at the time and I weighed 204). I did so, gained a bunch anyway - not to discourage you, it's just how my body is.…

Hi there - congrats on your loss! Regarding walking with your kiddo and the stroller, I find a 200 calorie burn difference between walking my route alone, and then walking it pushing a double stroller with my 35-pound son, and his 6-month old brother....he must weigh 18 pounds or so. I do wear a HRM, so my burn is accurate…

This answer will not be of any help really, but I just had to tell you when I saw this, my first thought was the musical instrument as I am a music teacher...lol.

Please go to your local running store. They should look at your bare feet standing, and then watch you walk several paces. They should then bring out several recommended shoes for you. Ignore the price tag for a few moments and try them all on. You should also be able to try them on with an appropriate sock. I don't work…

I am guessing you mean painting objects like walls or a fence....go to caloriesperhour.com. While it might not traditionally be considered exercise, it is probably something outside your normal activities. I just came home from picking huckleberries for four hours....I did not wear my HRM so I went to the web site and…
