I'll add that most males working out 3-6 days a week can easily eat 2400+ calories a day with a healthy metabolism but everyone is different.

Calorie expenditure is hard to track and very inaccurate and can drive you crazy if the equation isn't working and you're not seeing results. I always suggest really focusing on intake. When I started my fitness journey I focused on cutting until I was within 2% of my desired body fat then focused on adding muscle. You can do both at the same time but the process is slower. I always suggest getting lean first so that you're healthier then add the muscle ;)

Do what you can sustain and make a lifestyle. Otherwise you will just be wasting your time. Personally I love carbs and you need them to help you push harder in your workouts. The key is finding the right percentage for your specific metabolism. I lost all my weight by eating 30-40% carbs. Hope that helps!

All depends on your metabolism. It's not as easy as calories in and calories out for most people. I always recommend people track their calories for a week so I can determine if the proper calorie deficit to avoid metabolic damage
