There's no way you should be at 2lb/week if you're currently at 174lbs unless you're like four feet tall. Set a bit of a less aggressive goal so that you can eat a little more, feel more full, and therefore don't feel as though you have to go into binge mode on the weekends. You can also try the 2lb/week goal for weekdays,…

Personally, it matters less in a significant other than it does for a fling. I'd say that it is somewhere around a 6.5 for a significant other. Being absolutely out of shape is a dealbreaker for me, but I wouldn't require someone to be an ultra-marathoning triathlete either. I tend to go for girls who care just enough…

Soup. Do not eat soup on a first date. In fact, don't eat soup on any date until after you've moved in together.

Be honest, and be open regardless of how much it might hurt to dredge up old feelings. You're paying for it, so unless you give it the attention it needs, you'll gain very little to nothing at all.

It really depends on how much skin you have, but excess skin doesn't really snap back once it's been stretched too far. That's just something that we have to deal with by letting ourselves become the sizes we do.But, hey... I'd rather have some skin than an extra hundred pounds of fat on, right? I doubt there's much fat…

Honestly, 90lbs by the end of December might be too aggressive for you. Considering weightloss naturally slows the less you weigh, the harder it is to hit a bigger deficit. That's just nature. Here's the math: 94lbs * 3500 cals/lb = 329000 cals 330 days left roughly until the end of December 329000 cals / 330 days =…

Depending on your work schedule, and building you can do something like what I do to at least get you out of your seat - Break 1 - Walk around the building (about 0.3 miles) - 1:00 Hr Lunch - Walk as far as I can in 25 minutes, turn around, and walk back - Break 2 - Walk around the building again Combined with the amount I…

You don't understand how people can do that because you've must have never experienced any sort of addiction, especially addiction predicated upon serious childhood trauma. You also must not be able to grasp the idea of body dysmorphia in the way that BDD serves to distort one's own body image as opposed to reality. I…

- Procure boneless, skinless chicken breast in 8oz cuts (usually comes in 3 packs at the store) - Preheat oven to 375 - Throw breasts on a plate, and season with salt/pepper/onion powder/garlic powder/whatever else - Non-stick spray/Heat skillet on medium until very hot - Throw chicken on hot skillet seasoning side down -…

I started "running" at 310lbs when I began losing weight. The great thing about running is that you don't need anything special to do it, you just have to do it.... and then keep doing it over, and over again. I'd suggest getting on a program like c25k, or something similar though. You may, or may not be able to complete…

I'd say that this depends on if it is muscle, or tendon soreness. Muscle soreness is probably fine to go light exercise on, but I'd hazard against any true exercise for a couple of days if it has to do with the tendon running up the back of the legs to the calves (achilles). Tendon pain in the calf is generally pretty easy…
-
You could put a backpack on, and get the weighted effect. Honestly, if your calves aren't strong enough to jog just yet, then you shouldn't be worried about adding more than your body weight to them until they gain strength. You also could set your heels of the back of a step to increase the range of motion.
-
This. It literally makes zero difference, and is a personal preference. Whichever works best for your schedule.
-
You don't need a machine to do calf raises. You just have to lift your heels off the ground over, and over again. :)
-
Try to do some calf raises, something in the order of 3x30 like three times per day until your calves get some strength in them. You're likely not strong enough to run yet.

Yep, that's exactly what I drink. I am generally most fond of the Red, and Orange ones, but I like all of the flavors. There's usually some sort of sale on them at one of the local supermarkets, so I can get a four pack for a few bucks. I have been meaning to cut back on them though considering I drink so many, but man...…

I drink up to three energy drinks per day, but I've found the zero calorie Monsters suit me just fine.

You might be able to do deadlifts in the Smith machine, possibly bench presses, but nothing else really. Honestly, it shouldn't be used for anything. PF is a great cardio gym, but it is severely lacking the way of weights. If you're looking to weightlift, you should really consider finding a gym with proper free weights,…

How quickly your body responds to the extra work. A 30 second jog for me was almost thoroughly undoable when I started last year, but within just a couple of months, I was already up to completing a 5k without stopping, and that was at nearly 275lbs. Unfortunately, my body didn't like moving that much weight that far, and…

Omg, no. NO. Stop it.

No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I bite my thumb, sir!

Because addiction has very little, if anything, to do with self control. Addiction is a physical change in the body that causes the addict to become dependent upon the substance which will cause withdrawal symptoms up to, and including death, if that substance is not ingested. An addicted person does not lack self control.…

There you go. You said it. It's lack of self control, not an addiction, and not the fault of the sugar. Also, not allowing myths to continue to propagate is not the same as being unsupportive. In fact, correcting false views based on junk science is more supportive than just blindly allowing a person to believe in the woo.

Nice Romeo and Juliet reference, but there's nothing wrong with grabbing breakfast at McDonald's as long as you're fitting it into your calorie goals. It also rounds out the macros quite nicely. I'll generally stop there 1 - 2 days per week on the weekend if I'm up, and about in the morning.
-
Your body does not care what source sugar comes from. It is all processed the same way. Any negative affects you might be experience are psychosomatic.

Plastic surgery is just gross to me. I had only heard of her before this thread, so I was forced to google her. She ruined herself.

That deadlift is really going to need some work. It looks like you're doing it all with your back, and that spells huge trouble once you start putting any weight on the bar. Bend more at the knee, and make sure you start the motion by driving through your heels. Your chest should be outward, and your back should be concave…
