With some tretinoin and needling your stretch marks could be less visible. Go find some info on needling. You´ll never loose those stretch marks but you can improve their appeareance. By the way, thanks for the inspiration and well done!.

Get yourself a good cushion and put it under your stomach. It will replace the padding in your belly and elevate your lower back. I sleep on my side with my arms and legs flexed, and since I lost some weight I hold on to a pillow to compensate the lost padding in my legs and boobs that way my knees and shoulders don´t hurt…

Yes, of course, that´s the answer!. Pain always gets so much better when you warm up your muscles. Walking (or swimming) even when you think you can´t, even when it´s too painful, keeping active in spite of the pain, that´s the answer. Always be active. Wasting yourself away in the bed or the couch will only make it worse.…

Due to a congenital malformation of my spine, I´ve always had chronic pain. How do I cope and how I do stay active?. I try to ignore the pain. I know, it´s not easy for people not accustomed to pain, and I have the advantage of old custom. But try to ignore it and don´t let the pain rule your life and be your boss.…

Lots of coffe. And I mean LOTS. And some high protein skimmed yogourt. And some days, when I want to indulge myself, one or even two "tortas de aceite" (160 calories)

Didn´t know what Baklava was, so I googled it and saw some photos. Now I understand: I really could not refrain myself from eating that thing, LOL :)

I wish I´d know the answer. Actually I´m very afraid because I think the doctor will prescribe me the pill due to some ginecologic problems and I´m dreading the weight gain and hair loss that I may suffer. 10 years ago I took the pill for some months and it made me gain 10 kilos and loose lots of hair. I didn´t recover…

Just had frozen bananas for dinner. Yummy! Love the suggestion, thanks a lot :)

When I crave some fats I eat some olives. Here in Spain peanut butter is not easily found. Plus olives are healthier ;)

Frozen bananas! Sounds delicious. I'm trying it! Perhaps with cinnamon...mmmm

Edulcorated fruity jellys have almost no calories and give a nice sensation of fullness.

And sweet, fruity teas ;)

Tetris! When you crave for sugar just play tetris or some other puzzle game. There's even some research about it.

One of my goals at losing weight is encouraging my husband to do the same!. Not succeeding yet but wait and see!. He´s witnessing my progress and is thinking of losing weight himself. Perhaps in time he will.

Never. I never weight myself. I used to be anorexic when I was younger and have a phobia of scales. I´m afraid that weghting myself could make me relapse or get depressed. I measure my progress by measuring my waist and hips.

Seems that playing Tetris is not so dumb after all ;) nbcnews.com/tech/innovation/how-tetris-could-help-you-stick-your-diet-n33041

When I feel hungry I play Tetris or some similar puzzle game. It may seem stupid (and I'm afraid it is) but it hepls me to think of something else.

Well I guess I'm really lucky ;) I went from 103kg to 52 (I'm 1'72) and them kept gaining and losing weight (72-85 kg). I'm not young anymore (41) but my skin is not as loose as it could be. Just have two problem areas: neck and arms. Perhaps good genes ;) So the procedures I commented before work for me. Nothing really…

Try to find out your basal metabolism. You can use a heart rate monitor. Wear the chest band for one night as you sleep. See how many calories you burn while sleeping (minimun activity). Or you can use an online BM calculator. It´s not as accurate but may help you figure out how many calories you may consume. If you keep…

You could try some cycling on flat routes. That will spare your knees from supporting your own weight and if you avoid ascending uphills you should not force your knee.

Well but it depends on how much loose skin you have. If it´s only a little, building muscles under it may help stretch it. But if there´s too much loose skin muscles won´t even be visible under the skin. And also if you´re a girl you may not be able to grow much muscle or may not want to. For example I´d rather keep my…

I quit smoking 15 years ago and put on a lot of weight as a result. But really, even if you gain some weight when you find that you can run without gapping like a fish out of water and you can climb quite a set of stairs without lacking air you´ll find much easier to exercise. So even if you gain some weight the resulting…

You could also add some vitamin C and retinoids to your skin care regime, it helps to create new collagen. Also always wear sunscreen because UV rays can destroy collagen. Don´t forget to eat plenty of protein. And no, exercise won´t do anything for your skin, it will only affect your muscles.

I take A LOT of fruity teas with A LOT of sacccharine. I know, saccharine is supposed to increase the "fat" microbiota in your gut but I´m sure it´s still better than taking a lot of sugar.

There are some non invasive tecniques that may help, for example Thermage, unipolar radiophrequency, mesotherapy and dermaroller. I used to fluctuate a lot when younger (From 103 kg to 52 and viceversa) and got a sagging neck and double chin as a result. Now I´m rolling it with 1.5 needles every 3 weeks, 0.5 needles every…
