  • When I'm in binge mode I start with healthy things and work my way up to sweets hoping that I'll stop before I get to the sweets. Sometimes it doesn't work. Afterwards I wish I had just eaten the bloody cake!!
  • Lucky for me I'm not a fussy eater at all and love my vegetables. We get to the market all the time to buy tons of veggies and fruits. We have a freezer full of meats too. I'm not yet buying grain fed meats but don't eat processed foods any longer. No canned soup. No canned beans. Nothing packaged and preserved. I cut out…
  • I'm weight training so it's 50-35-15 p/c/f. Most carbs are from vegetables/rice/yams.
  • I had bad tendonitis in the supraspanitis/shoulder (sorry if i spelled that wrong). I couldn't lift my arm. It was too painful. I stayed away from weights and told my trainer I was taking a break. I blamed her for a bit but I'm pretty sure I injured it while I was working out on my own. I was at physiotherapy for a month…
  • for a treat I fry them with some coconut oil, honey and nuts. It's like desert.
  • a 23 yr old woman who weighs 103lbs doesn't sound like a weight lifter to me. right? You already know that eating more food is the real answer to your question so rather than offend you by stating the obvious may i suggest you see a doctor and find out why you cannot keep or gain weight. You might have a thyroid problem.…
  • If success were easy, we'd all be a size 4. If hubby brings home a big meal for the both of you and you "don't refuse" then you set yourself up for the later problem. You have to forgive yourself. I can't help but comment on the hubby bringing food in; if my hubby did that I'd be a little upset with her. If your hubby were…
  • I'm not exactly sure what clean means but so far I've discarded packed/processed foods and traded in sauces for seasoning. I stay away from canned foods, even canned beans. I call it real food. When company comes over I think they enjoy our cooking because they always comment on how healthy the meal was. I'm not sure what…
  • Maybe you should be experimenting with cooking tasty foods. you can eat the food you like but less of it. You only need to eat fewer calories so why focus on the food you don't like? think positively and use the math to your favor. I hate liver. there is nothing you could say to me to make me eat it. lol.
  • I'm sort of new at this (one year) and I work out with high intensity every other day. I figure my body AND my mind could take a break to recover. It's nice to get up some mornings knowing I have a day off and on the next work out day I actually look forward to it and can make the most of it. some things done to an extreme…
  • What an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your story.
  • somehow your brain needs to think there is a greater reward/benefit for saying no. Try imagining yourself thin and sexy. photoshop something like your head on a magazine model's body and keep it in your purse to look at. sooner or later, binge eating will not be consistant with your image of yourself and fattening food…
