I've been confronting my thought process about binging. I'll tell myself, it's ok because tomorrow I won't do this or I deserve this. Once I challenge those thoughts, I seem to come back to reality and can avoid starting.

After the day is done and the kids go to bed I go for the cookies and sweets in the house. I think I use it as a reward for the day. After reading your post I realized that meditating or journaling would bring me the comfort I'm looking for in the cookies.

I'm 51 and 167. I'd like to be at 150. I find it very difficult to stay away from sugar and simple carbs. Looking for inspiration.

Doing this one day at a time makes this more manageable. I've been stuffing myself with carbs today and I have got to stop. So, I'll start over tomorrow and set my goals. I desperately need to get off the sugar and simple carbs. I put that stuff in my system and I seem to just loose all control. Tomorrow I will not eat…

Didn't meet my goals yesterday, so I'll try again today. 1. log all food 2. be honest 3. no snacking 4. stay within 1500 calories :)

I'm not good at the group thing but I'll give it a shot. 1. Log all food; 2. Stay under 1500 3. No snacking, especially in the afternoon and evening (toughest time for me).
