I'm also not a runner, but wish I could be. I'm contemplating a 5k color run in...oh my, it's only 5 weeks away! Ahh! Well, maybe I'll just be running the 2 miles and trying to run the last 3rd of the course instead.

love these workouts, but yes, the pain! well only the first day or two or three. BUT I found if I made myself go for a walk, and keep moving throughout the day, stretch really good before bed and when waking up and keep moving somemore the pain goes away. ok, that's it-this thread has me ready to go! I'm popping in my Shred DVD and I'm starting. Today. I'm supposed to go to a water park in a few weeks with the family...I really don't want to hide out in a giant tent-like suit and still feel like a stuffed sausage. Lets do this.

just did a 21 Day Fix 10-min abs last night! Tonight maybe Dirty 30? not on the fix plan, but using the workouts. who knows maybe I'll get out my containers again...

So for those of us who have to dreadmill, due to cold weather, snow & ice and having small kiddos at home-what works best for you? I've tried to set up a mini dvd player to watch a movie to pass the time or watch a TV series. I don't have any kind of mp3 player, smartphone etc. so any "low tech" ideas would be great.
