Put snacks in separate ziplock or sandwich bags or wrap in clingfilm. for example, I get a big back of popcorn and weigh out portion sizes so I'll stick to it. If I prelog it I can see how many calories it is before eating it. Seeing a calorific value really helps if it's a "bad" food.

Also fitness youtubers will often have like a 6 week, 30 day, 1 week etc challenge - which is great for motivation. I stalled for an entire month on 143lbs and I was dieting quite well. Stuck with it and finally under 140lbs. Dont lose faith

Use youtube and do workouts from home - Blogilates has some great ones to strengthen and tone. There's plenty of ones for cardio - POPSUGAR is good for this.

Same here! Went in to Primary yesterday and for the first time in my entire life I was able to get up a size 10. I used to be an 16-18. Good luck with your goals.

I ate 1200 cal per day and still often do but have upped my exercise so have a few cheat meals per week. Have lost 47lbs so far add me if u want :)

I have a firbit charge 2 and I love it - cost just over a £100 on amazon. I wear it daily (first time in my life I've worn a watch) and it can even track your sleep. It gives you an estimate of calories burned and I like its style. Its also got a good community on it so u might be able to have friends you can challenge…

I have the same issue sometimes. Some of us are too human, even if we are adults. And yes it's better not to cheat/binge/ but s**t happens. I read this and it gave me a different outlook. Same here! I eat carbs but cut out bread, pasta (the pure baddies) and under 1200 cals and down 45lbs. Have started yoga and strength training now, but if u have the energy HIIT does work wonders

Calorie deficit is all that matters to me and a cheat day every now and then

Porridge (oatmeal) is v cheap and nutritious, eggs ditto, rice, curry (u can make a batch and reheat), pasta and sauce also. Tuna pasta with mayo and sweetcorn (this was a college staple), fish fingers and beans (also v cheap). Just a few to try if you're not a massive fan of veg. Keep portions low - weigh everything.

I found a low carb diet too restrictive. I was bored. In saying that I eat what I want, calorie restricted and naturally have low-ish carbs compared to before (I cut out bread for example). Are you weighing everything? sometimes we think we're eating less than we are. I weigh everything and log before I eat. Also if your losing inches,, u cud be building muscle

How long have you been doing this for? It can take some time, especially since your not overweight to begin with.
