Thanks so much! If you don't mind clarifying, what do you mean by the treadmill not being responsive enough?

I was honestly looking to maximize my fat loss in a shorter amount of time, and I read that sprinting can do that for me. (Something about V02, but not sure what that is.) I'm not really interested in long distance running. I am afraid I am not sprinting fast enough/ long enough because an 8 on the treadmill is FAST for…

I usually do 3-4 miles continuously like 4 times a week. Very slow, like at 6 on the treadmill.

When I stopped eating sugar and processed foods for awhile, my tastes totally changed. For example, smoothie with a banana tasted almost too-sweet to me. French fries, or something like that, would taste like chemicals. I'm happy to report, I can eat all that now just fine. :#

I always try to do my workouts fasted to maximize fat loss. Try to make sure your stomach is empty and having a little caffeine before might help.

I agree, especially if you're juicing mostly fruits, which pumps alot of sugar into your body all at once. It's expensive, inconvenient, and less filling than just eating the veggies/fruits themselves. Juicing is better than pounding back Doritos and Coke, but if you're eating a proper diet, with all your veggies, I'd just…

Well, duh....sorry for the error.

After workouts, you actually probably need something with a small amount of carbs, to replace the glycogen lost in your muscle. A small banana or small chocolate milk (or anything with some carbs). This is the best time to have a carb if you want to maximize lean muscle growth.
-
Yikes, I can see how that would be frustrating! I found this link below on Pinterest. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat, but muscle looks ALOT better. If you are losing inches, and your jeans fit differently (more loosely), I'd say keep on keepin' on. Congrats on your progress!…

You have accomplished SO much! Awesome!

If your diet is not veg, I would add in some protein like eggs or just the whites. You could throw a veggie in there, too. They keep you full FORever. When I was eating oatmeal for breakfast, I'd be hungry an hour later. If that's not an option for you, then this looks pretty balanced to me!

+1 ^ . To be happy and confident, ya'll just worry about what YOU think about yourselves. Someones always going to have something to say. B)

As you lose weight, you will have to decrease your calories to less and less. Try reducing your calories cals a bit and exercising. Also, certain foods and times of the month will make your body bloat or hold on to excess water weight.
-
The berries and "sour" probably have added calories in them if the drink is sweet at all. So yes, that would be a high caloric intake.
-
Lots of veggies for the bulk....that will make your stomach feel more full. I also agree that adding a 'fasting' period will probably help alot as well. Coffee, tea, lots of water. Egg Whites (3)-51 cal Laughing cow wedge-35 cals Spinach or other veg- around 10 cals That's a decent "meal" at around 100 cals. 4 oz chicken…

Unfortunately, I second this ^.

I agree! ^ You will probably have some extra/loose skin, but you will still be thinner and healthier! Also, you can always get it surgically removed if it really bother you at that point. Just google "abdominoplasty", and you can look at before and after pics. Great progress!

Prepare your things the night before. Prep everything you need to get through the day, thus eliminating excuses to NOT complete your workout. When you're tired in the morning, you will tell yourself anything to convince yourself to not work out....at least I do. And just remember how great it will feel to have your workout…

I'm definitely not an expert, but I think that the less cals you consume, the more you will lose. Starvation mode is not really a "thing".....I mean look at anorexics. Obviously, you will want to keep the cals at a healthy level to feel your best, but eating less will make you lose more.

What about 3per week?? >:) OP-I like to make meatballs with 97% lean ground turkey. High in protein, low in fat. You can even stuff some cheese in them (if you have enough cals). Marinara for dipping. Oven-baked sweet potato fries, baked parmesan chicken bites, veggie tray with guac. Almost anything can be "healthified".
-
Chicken and egg whites give the absolute most "bang for your buck". Eggs whites are also extremely low in cals and cheap.
-
For quick, no mess lunches I will eat a pink salmon packet mixed with 100 cal wholly guacamole. Dip veggies in it.

I drink this alot after workouts: Small banana 1Cup Vanilla Unsweetened almond milk A tsp of almond butter A tbsp of flax Crushed Ice As much spinach as you can fit (I add some water to all this because I like mine thin.) I think it comes to only 150 cals. Tastes really good, and you can add berries/other fruit to suit…

One time, I went on a diet my mom saw online where you eat 100 calories every hour. You do it for 12 hours....no substantial meals. Man, things got creative. Also tried vegan/gluten free/sugar free/low carb all at the same time. Yeeeep. I'm super smart.

You can do this! Make your motivation about being a healthy person, and the pounds lost can just be the added bonus. Being an adult is the.actual.worst.

A positive attitude can change your life. I look forward to seeing your posts!

I don't remember the site at all, but I had to take measurements of my wrist, waist, etc....and the result shocked me.

Personally, when I cut carbs I lose weight faster. Even if it's what everyone screams as "water weight", it's still weight off your body that will make you look leaner. The number dropping on the scale also acts as a great motivator. :)

I have the same problem, and I am very curious to hear the answer. I am 5'4" and around 150 lbs. I look smaller than a friend who weighs less, and I wear a size 6 and Small. Yet according to the body fat calculator, I am obese. Trying to whittle down to 130....good luck to you! ;-)
