I also noticed an inflation with the new Apple Watch update. I’m assuming they changed part of their algorithm somewhere for what it counts as movement calories. With that said it’s sedentary calories are almost to the integer the same as what my Fitbit would say they were. I’ve been subtracting 2-300ish from its estimated…

I turned off the automatic post for exercise from my Apple Watch. Why? Pokémon Go. It’ll submit every time I turn it on as walking, 2.0. I’d flood people’s feeds with it. Pair that with after the watch update it seems much more generous on calorie burn, I’ve been pretty suspicious of any active calories. So, when I see it…

Meal prep stir fry! Protein (chicken breast, cheap steak), frozen veg, sauce (orange, sweet chili, whatever you like). High heat in a pan. When I was working in an office I did 2 days stir fry and 2 days pasta. Could easily do a zoodle w butter for lower carb, or red sauce for more mid-ish. Pack it w broccoli, mushrooms,…

Since starting, I have tightened the band on my Apple Watch from the second bulb to the fourth bulb. Soon I’ll be able to switch to the small wristband!

Hey! I’m 23 & in the last year of my bachelors program. I started at 227 & am at 214 right now with a GW of around 130. (I’m 5’, so may re evaluate at closer to goal). Anyone can feel free to add me on here. My diary is open, I eat out, I drink beer, I have lazy days. If a Snapchat group gets made send me a message. I do…

Before I came in here I was like “oh about the size of my cat” Yes. From your post I’ve lost the weight of an average housecat. Got a newborn calf to go, but that’s only 2 elephant hearts or 2 legs and another cat 😉

Seconding the exact latte order above. For energy drinks I like the Monster Rehabs - 20 cals in a can. I drink one every morning in lieu of coffee, tea, or a carbonated drink.

Stir fry has always been my go-to for low cal fun. I’m also a full time student and work full time and commute, so my time is a bit limited so I also like going for fast and easy. Like 3.5-4oz shrimp and 2.5 cups mixed veggies with various stir fry sauces usually land right around 300 cals and it’s a full meal. For snacks,…

100 cal “snack packs” that are basically one cookie. I can eat one cookie on my own without all the extra packaging :/ With that said, I also have a strong distaste for artificial sweeteners. Yogurts, diet soda, and the like

I'm 22 and looking at about 50 pounds for sure. Add me and we can be friends! I added the other ladies here on the list. If you check my diary I keep a budget in place for my insatiable 20-something booze cravings too.

I have the Charge HR and I love it to pieces. It can sync up with your phone via bluetooth and MFP. Since it has the heart rate monitor as well I feel confident enough in its calories burned estimate as well that I take it at mostly face value. It's also sleek and has a watch so it can work with any outfit. Battery life on…

Yes, in a way. I have my activity level set to sedentary, as I always assumed the way I live my life and my job seem to be pretty low activity. I have a fitbit charge hr and I let that make any and all adjustments I need day to day after entering in my initial goals and activity levels. If I have a really active day, I can…

I'm 5'0 and have a larger frame. Even when I made it down to 115 in high school (not at all healthy at that time) I had DD boobs and wore size 6 pants. I'm 195 right now and my starting goal is 140, I had some rockin abs and overall felt really healthy and active at that weight, and accept that I am a stockier person who…

Having also done the fiber one mistake, I'm laughing with you

I've lost about 25 pounds in the past (and regained from poor and fully explainable choices) and have struggled with an eating disorder as well. I've thought about purchasing a scale, but I've found that since I have an aggressive weight loss plan (2 lb/week) even if my estimations aren't fully accurate, I'm still losing.…

Maybe look at more fiber where you can? You are also eating a very small amount (1250~cals) which for some people is too drastic of a cut given their activity levels and body.

Chicken breast and sliced peppers in orange-ginger sauce on a bed of Orzo

I like the Monster Rehabs, which are a tea+lemonade(or limeade or what have you) for 20 cal a can. They aren't super strong but I like them better than any other energy drinks on the market, and they aren't carbonated.

Pasta in tomato sauce. When I was a kid we had spaghetti and goulash(sp?) a few times a month, so now a hot bowl of noodles always makes me feel comforted. And making the sauce yourself (or tweaking a 1/2 cup can) can really help save on the calories. I just like carbs, man.

When I worked overnights, I also lived 25 minutes from my job and gym (which were basically next door). So I'd wake up in the evening, 6-7pm ish, eat when I wake up, go to the gym and be at work at 10 (I promise I showered). Since my job was ultra boring at night I packed lots of low calorie snacks to graze on through the…

Drinking pop always starts me off to a rough day (especially because one can turns into 2-3 through the day)...also chipotle burritos. If I get a bowl I can easily eat it as two meals. As a burrito I eat the whole thing at once, get a stomach ache, and lay down instead of exercise...plus the entire chipotle burrito thing.

To help drink more water I started with the crystal lite to-go pouches (5cals/serving). Eventually I started craving "pure" water without the flavorings in it. Also, I like bottled spring water from my local grocers brand.

Good to meet you!

My daily go-to is chicken breast with sauce, and a jello cup at the end. I buy packs of chicken breast and cut them into serving size portions (4oz) ahead of time. I keep teriyaki, orange ginger, and sweet chili sauce in my fridge at all times. I just cook on the oven top cubed chicken, and when it's half cooked pour 1-2…

Since my base meal every day is chicken + sauce: YESSSS. Sauces I really like are sweet chili, orange marinade, and soy, so it's really easy to eat too much of it! I've found if I take care to only use 1 serving of whatever sauce it usually tastes just as good and I haven't accidentally added 150-200 calories to my meal. I…

Around this time last year I took it seriously and lost about 25-30 pounds in a few months, then I moved in with my boyfriend and made terrible diet decisions. So now I'm back as well and in the same boat as you guys! Feel free to add me!
-
Looking at losing 55-75 pounds, so id love to be your friend!

I added both of you, and I welcome anyone else who wants friends to add me as well! I used to be very consistent, and I'm working at getting back to it. Also: Winchesterhunter I love your name!!!

Being in the right mindset to start is the biggest. Now that you've got that confidence boost to begin your week, enter everything you eat. Plan your meals and figure out how you can eat the foods you love and still stick to your goal. Power through and be persistent. Everything takes time, but once you've got a habit…

I started seriously logging mid November and haven't broken my streak yet - go ahead and add me!
