Don't waste your money or health on those pills. I took them years ago and did lose a little with the appetite suppressant but gain back all and then some. Plus some make your heart race which is scary. My friend lost a lot of weight losing them but her heart started acting weird after a while and now she's heavier than…

I use organic butter and msg-free seasoning on my salmon. Bake it in the oven wrapped with aluminum foil.

Sorry for the sentences that don't make sense. My phone is going crazy on the autocorrect and inserting words that don't make sense lol.

Like everyone said clean eating idea initial depends on who you ask. I eat certified organic ingredients about 98% of the time. I make majority everything from scratch such as cheesecake, chili, jambalaya, chicken Alfredo etc. We rarely eat out because the food we make at home taste way better and it's cheaper. We eat…

My family loves my meals. I make an organic chicken Alfredo and they just gobble it up. I also make organic cheesecake on rare occasions and they love that also. With all of my old recipes I just changed them into organic by using organic ingredients, so the adjustment for them was easy. My husband yesterday made cake (not…

I eat clean and don't track calories at all. Eating clean gives me the metabolism of a normal person. Basically I feel like a fat burning machine because my leptin signals actually work and tell me when I'm full or hungry. We eat lots of fruits, veggies, bread, pasta, sugar, etc all are certified organic. You can only eat…

Eat clean organic foods. Avoid things with msg, high fructose corn syrup, and gmo. We rarely eat out and I honestly can't remember the last time. Oh and avoid alcohol. When I do these things I lose weight and don't have to track or measure my food. Turns out a lot of these things turn off your leptin signal (fullness) and…

I cut out alcohol after falling into the binge drinking which then leads to binge eating habit. I think I stopped on 12/2/15 but I've been known to go a year or months without drinking but I never set a goal on complete abstinence. I tend to hang out with mostly my husband and kiddos so I don't have much of a social life…

It affected my weight loss because drinking alcohol makes me binge eat. I'm also a binge drinker. So loads of cals and weight gain no matter if I only drank twice a week. I quit drinking two weeks ago and my weight loss has started up again. I don't binge when I don't drink, so quitting alcohol is also good for my health.…

I just followed the "eat more to weigh less advice". Usually they advise a "reset" if the scale isn't budging and you're eating in a deficit. Could be my body was retaining fluid, thus no movement on the scale. Ate at a surplus for a couple of weeks, then reduced down to a number where the scale started moving down again…

I had sleeve surgery and regret my decision. I had it done about 3 years ago and only lost about 50ish pounds. Of course others have success and I'm definitely not the poster child for the surgery but I did hit 50% of the excess weight loss. I don't like the long staple line and having these metal staples in me for the…

Same here! Calories were too low and when I switched to mfp and started eating a healthy amount I started to gain instantly. Plus the activity points are not enough. I will never go back to ww.

Sounds like you're not eating enough to fuel your workouts. I dabbled with eating 1200 cals a couple of months ago and didn't like the way I felt. I developed insomnia, super hangry, couldn't focus, etc. I now eat 2100 cals a day and set my goal to lose .5 lbs per week. I'm much happier. My weight loss plateaued at 1200…

Same here! Was extra hangry On a 500 cal deficit lol
-
Yup I do the same! I workout 4 days a week and subtract 250 cals. I tried the 500 cal deficit and was so hungry.
-
I do B. I also focus on weekly totals and not day to day.
-
I also had to wear it higher on my wrist about one finger above my wrist bone.
-
Was it underestimating your burn? I sometimes wonder if mine is doing that since I lift heavy 4 days a week and do intervals on both the elliptical and treadmill 4 days a week.
-
I have the fitbit charge HR and haven't had any problems during intervals. My HR goes all the way up to 174bpm and it's the same read as the machines. I got this specific fitbit because I do intervals. I also don't have negative adjustments allowed either. I go by my weekly burn report and subtract 250 cals per day. Maybe…

I used to believe this myth but now I just drink to thirst. I even drink during meals *gasp*. Sometimes I just can't get enough water and other times I can't be bothered with it. I always check my pee color so I usually know if I need to drink more.
-
Mine is set to .5 pounds. I'm finding it easier to stick to a slight deficit and I love to eat so it works out in the end.
-
I follow the eat more to weigh less approach.
-
I'm 5'3.

10,000 iui vitamin d3 and rest.

Mine is open.

So true!

^^THIS! Go to the link OP. Glad I bypassed the forums.

I eat 2100ish cals and am losing weight after following the eat more to weigh less protocol. I did a reset for 10 days and then reduced by 500 cals. 1200 isn't enough to fuel your training and you may find that 1600 is too low.

Low carb always kills my workout energy. My body hates it! I've tried it several times over the years and it always kills my stamina. I prefer a high carb diet for the energy and mental clarity it gives me.

I read that article months after my plateau had started. Reverse dieting/em2wl work but of course the thought of upping cals to lose more weight scares people. If I were still eating 1500 cals or less and someone questioned my accuracy while tracking, I probably would of ripped their head off lol. Thankfully since I…
