We have a Dominos every couple of weeks and still lose weight, I fit it into my daily cals. Choosing a thinner crust (Italian Style is good) and healthier toppings (chicken and veg) reduce the calorie count more than the low fat cheese so I do that instead. Also this may sound daft but I now eat mine with a knife and fork…

I don't necessarily agree with the above, yes exercise can aid weight loss but I've lost thirty pounds without a gym membership and I think exercise should be an added extra, it shouldn't be relied upon. I'm sure I've read on here before that it should be 80% what goes in your mouth and 20% exercise. A mixture of cardio…

Hope you don't mind I'm going to bump up this post so more people can see it. Couldn't have put it better myself, everyone should read this!
-
Congratulations, you look brilliant! I'm on Day 358 and 31 pounds down, hoping I can make the next 7 days to 365!

As others have said, I prefer to have mine at Sedentary (8 hour desk job 5 days a week) and log exercise separately. I don't count the 10 min to/from work or general chores as I just think of that as a buffer for any inaccuracies in food logging.

Yeah all of this!

Every day, though some days admittedly I will guesstimate meals if I've eaten out or pre-log a certain amount on the very occasional holiday (two or three times a year i.e. Christmas Day)

This has probably already been said but personally, I don't do blowout cheat days because most days I will crave something that would be considered "cheat" like a sugary treat, usually chocolate, so I just fit those things into my daily calories. I find it easier to stay on track when I don't deny myself of something I…

I'll add you, happy to help if I can. I'm 5'4, lost 31lbs so far and have around 9lbs to go

Yeah basically this one, 10 pounds to goal weight and all of a sudden my friends are saying "you don't need to lose anymore, you're skinny enough now" or "here, have this chocolate/doughnut/cookie, you don't need to diet anymore". Surely as an adult who has done a ton of research into this change of lifestyle which will…

As above, there are just so many factors that affect your weight loss that +/- 2 pounds in even a few days is normal for most people. Also as a general rule of thumb, it would depend how much you have to lose, most people find the last 10 pounds or so much harder/longer to lose than the weight they've lost up to then. I…

As others have said I would still have the pasta, just add a ton of veggies with it, chopped up courgette, tomatoes mushrooms, pepper or salad all work well. I reduced my pasta portion size from 75g dry weight to 50 and I still feel full (just not that omg just had a huge bowl of pasta bloated full).

When I did whole30 I used this website extensively http://stalkerville.net/diet/whole30/

Lasagne made with courgette works surprisingly well!

As the others suggested leek soup so easy to make, I also love a leek risotto made in the oven so still super easy! http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3505/leek-bacon-and-potato-soup http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1120679/ovenbaked-leek-and-bacon-risotto

Hey - I'm 27/f/uk, I started at 77kg and now at 63kg, which was my original goal and the lowest weight of my adult life (which I never thought was possible to get to woopwoop!). I'm now aiming for 60kg just because I'm still carrying a bit of excess weight in certain areas (I'm quite short, 5'4) and I'm in between dress…

I managed chin ups (and push ups too) by literally just trying once or twice every day until it finally worked! I found it easier once I could do one to do more. Still not mastered a pull up though, those are tough!

Rooibos is my fave :)
-
Rooibos is my go to tea, I love it with and without milk/honey. Also Twinings Caramelised Apple Green Tea and Teapigs Chai.
-
I would recommend this!
-
I would put it in as brisk walk
-
100% this! That when I look down I still see the same old fat thighs and constantly wonder where the 23 pounds I've lost has been taken from!
-
Personally I'd rather eat the calories than drink them so I only have water and tea, alcohol maybe twice a year for a special occasion. My vice is needing something sweet after a meal. If you can't go without then fit it into to your weekly allowance.

I think the portion sizes are bigger in the US. If you Google "portion sizes McD's worldwide" there's a picture showing the different sized cups. A medium US drink is bigger than a large drink in Japan for example. There are also some interesting pictures on how the portion sizes have increased in the last fifty years!

Yeah this is basically my hair, only a couple of hairdressers have attempted to curl my hair but all have failed! It looks amazing for of about three minutes then the curl just drops out!
-
Just wanted to thank everyone that posted, I now only wash my hair every second or third day depending on what's happening. I've learnt to just put my hair in a bun when showering after workouts and let the sweat dry then add some dry shampoo if it's needed. My hair hasn't actually been that greasy, I think before I was…

Are you accurately weighing absolutely everything that goes into your mouth? Are you under 5'3? 1500 is still a deficit for most people at 21 depending on height so you should still be losing something after 30 days, albeit slower than with a bigger deficit.
-
Yeah that would make sense and the way I would do it, it's a great feeling having a nice tired pup afterwards!
