Agreed! Personally I go by comfort. It gets too hot? Whoop, the shirt comes off. If being in just that sports bra helps me push myself to new heights, heck yes it is coming off. But even if you just want to parade around in a sports bra, I think you should be able to do it.

I'm 5'3 and aiming for 115. Currently at 122 and each pound is a sloooooow struggle (about 0.5lbs a week). Aiming for a decrease in 3-4% body fat from the initial percentage by the time I get to 115 (aka hopefully not losing muscle). Mine seems accurate, but I tend to go 175 strides/minute at max incline and 23 resistance ... otherwise yeah it does overestimate a little.

This is fantastic. I had been hoping someone would do this kind of analysis and share the data. I also hate that I'm supposed to have (according to MFP) lost 4 or 5 pounds by now, but in have have lost about 2.5-3. I am hoping some of it is more muscle, and more muscle retaining water, but it does seem like an unfair place…
