sneaky me time— My office is literally across the street from my house so I come home for lunch (when I’m not working from home) and enjoy some quiet alone time. On another note, I have to step out of the step challenge! 😢 I wanted to be a team player and join in on the stepping fun, even though I don’t actually enjoy…

I’m so sorry to hear this 😢

Sorry to hear you were ill! As you know, that gain could be anything related to fluids and a significant change to routine due to the hospitalization, and highly unlikely to actually be related to your body mass. Focus on taking care of yourself and perhaps you will see a big drop next week as your body heals and regulates!

@Aqualang26 you raise two important points here that I can relate to. The strength in having support and the struggle of managing a lifestyle that is different from the people around me. I find the support and accountability I need here (thanks everyone) Because I do the meal planning, shopping and cooking, I get to decide…

@lperkins5 love the golf analogy 😂 and yes I’ve hooked and sliced a time or two. @Up_n_Running just curious, do you use any other measurements? Like pictures or body measurements? Anybody else? What do you use along with the weigh ins to measure success? The scale is necessary but the fluctuations can be so frustrating!
-
You’ve got this @Up_n_Running ! Those darn scales are helpful but so not reliable. They are only one measure. Celebrate how you were feeling leading up to that weigh in. Weigh again next week. Maybe you’ll have a big drop!

I love listening to podcasts when I walk or drive and I stumbled upon this one called Half Size Me that I really enjoy so thought I’d share: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/half-size-me/id502334416 The host has lost over 100 lbs, shares ideas and coaches people with varying goals. Are there any other podcast…

Oh boy. Those days are tough ones but try not to beat yourself up. It’s all about trying something, reflecting and adapting if needed. You tried what you thought might work. It didn’t work the way you hoped so just keeping trying something else. You’re absolutely right... 3 steps forward!!

HW 160.2 (Dec 2020) SW 143.0 GW 125.0-130.0 4/02 142.0 4/09 142.0 no change... no big deal! I had a couple of days completely off plan while I visited with my vaccinated parents for the first time since October. We had appetizers galore and visited long past bedtime. I am grateful for the time together and grateful that I…

Yikes. It’s the middle of the afternoon and I have 0 calories left to eat. I had a bit of an incident with 4 chocolate peanut butter cookies... what to do.... any ideas?

Steps 04/05 - 5,183 Wow @Jax_Grim 20 days a year just for the commute! That is incredible. I’m not sure what your commute is like but driving can be added stress for people too. I’ve also had to move to working from home in rotating shifts. In the beginning, I was grateful my office figured something out to keep more…
