It does seem like it adds up, doesn't it? I have found that buying things on sale (for example, when mushrooms are 'buy one get one free') helps, and we always freeze extras in large ziploc bags and add them to soups or recipes later. I think it's great to take a little time off here and there! The last thing you want is something to become monotonous and unpleasant. I find that sometimes I become more motivated after skipping a few days... as long as I keep my eating right, that is!
