Fruit isn't bad for you. Yes, it contains sugar but it also contains nutrients and fiber that your body needs. I personally try to limit my intake on added sugars as well as sweets. Yes, I will occasionally indulge in a deliciously sweet dessert but it's not as often as I used to. I also read labels to see what sort of…

Actually apple cider vinegar is considered a fermented food and has many prebiotic benefits which is pretty much the food for the bacteria in your gut (probiotic). You would have to get raw apple cider vinegar to get the most prebiotic benefits. While I don't take ACV myself I have been taking pre and pro biotics, eating…

Try DDP Yoga. It's a more intense version of yoga using dynamic resistance. . I'm on my second round of it and I really like it. I was still lifting weights at the gym and used it as a second workout but I did drop a few pounds and inches with the addition of the yoga.

Um, okay.

My local grocer sells tons of stuff that is out of season. They obviously get it from Florida or California and most of the time the prices are reasonable and it's not horrible looking so it's not that far fetched an idea to have out of season produce. But then again I'm spoiled this year due to an abundant garden and a…

Not often enough. I love the stuff and there's nothing better than a hot cup of tea. Unfortunately the only time I think to drink it during the day is when I'm cold or sick.

Not as a class but I have a pole in my living room and videos I use. It is awesome exercise. Mine screws into the beam across the ceiling (my husband configured it because we don't have a low ceiling to use the plate and it did pop out on me once) and is anchored to the floor. Platinum stages is where my husband got it.…

Why are you having such a heavy meal before a workout? That could be the issue. Do you feel sluggish any other time you have red meat?
-
Why on earth would you resist cheese?
-
I was JUST going to suggest that. Seriously, it's an excellent workout program.

Because regardless of how nice the restaurant is there is always the chance of someone spitting in your food? And I'm not being 'daft' or wasteful of resources. As I stated in many instances it is the server who has seen that the food is done improperly -- as they either saw it as we cut into it or we called them over to…

I am leery of sending stuff back at restaurants -- even nice ones. The ONLY time I will do that is if the server can clearly see that what I ordered isn't right and then they're the ones sending it back, not me. There have been plenty of times where the server looks, says "That's not how you ordered it." and proceeds to…

You posted about English not being your native language AFTER I posted that. Sorry.
-
And here you just said you were one of the best students. I am really hoping English isn't your first language.

ExRx.net will help you out. Honestly, it gives information on lifting, beginner workout programs, exercises along with how to do them and what muscles they work.
-
^^ I agree. And if they are a troll they're not very good at it.

By time you take it out of the package it's already done! LOL. If I find a waiter who doesn't know blue I'll ask to talk to the chef (which there is one place where the chef still can't get it right so I don't bother ordering steak) OR I'll just flip my hand back and forth, make a sizzling noise and say "done". At least…

Depends. Right now I am getting back into cardio so I will be doing it 2-3x a week along with my weight training and DDP yoga. In March I will start my training for a duathlon in May so my cardio will range from 3 days a week to 6 days a week.

I think everyone is understanding you perfectly. You stated: Which pretty much says that although you "don't want the exact body" you "want to know how she obtained it" which = you want the same body.
-
But Beyonce is very different from you as well. She probably exercises for more than 2 hours a day, probably has a strict diet and a lot of other things that you aren't factoring in. There are a lot of women whose bodies I admire but I never once thought that I could look like them because, well, I can't. Seriously, stop…

Sad but true.

Typically I don't. On the off chance that I do it's Panera and usually the half sandwich with a side salad. OR sometimes we'll get the Little Caesars Hot & Ready pizza. I live in an area where there are no fast food places close by. Even if I want Burger King late at night when I'm drunk our local bar where we typically go…

To lower body fat? Heck yes. Time and work. To get "bulky"? Steroids.

LOL. Yes. :p

The thread on eating in restaurants led to some interesting contributions on steaks, so let's talk steak. What cut(s) is(are) your preference? - Rib Eye or New York Strip - How do you prepare it usually? Grilled. BLUE please! (It is SO HARD to get restaurants to figure this one out) How do you prepare for just a few people…

They don't. They're just in the gym for 5-6 hours a day doing a multiple of things like lifting, pilates, yoga, cardio . . . The normal person doesn't have that much time to devote to their fitness. And yes, a lot of how certain people look is genetics. I would love to have a nice, big booty but I will never have that --…

Go to: ExRx.net. They have a lot of information that can help you.

Thanks for speaking for every woman. I personally don't want a body like Beyonce.

It could be correct. Typically establishments like Dunkin' Donuts have a certain amount of "pumps" that they put into their coffee so that the caramel iced coffee you get at one branch tastes exactly the same as the one you get at the branch down the road. And as Jo said if you're not gaining then you should be fine.…

I like mine. The people who work there are nice and rarely is that stupid lunk alarm pulled. I can dead lift, do step ups on the benches, high intensity workouts (someone in a previous post said you can't do high intensity workouts but you can). Depending on the branch (the one in Providence comes to mind) they may have…
