Thanks for the encouragement and advice, ya'll. I feel hungover today from the experience. I plan on having a longer than usual workout today after work and I went back to low carb eating this morning.

I have three NSVs: 1) I no longer need a seat belt extender on planes 2) I managed to go on vacation without completely losing my mind eating carbs, although I did have higher limits than usual and 3) I got right back on plan when I returned.

I'm a big fan of cheesy chicken. You will need a chicken breast, 1 slice of mozzerella cheese, then mix 1 T of mayo, 1T of sour cream, 1T of parmesian cheese and spread on top of the mozzerella slice. I eat green beans. I plan on using beans in soups, chili, etc this fall and winter but to use half the recipe amount to slowly introduce them back into my diet. Interesting. I was just thinking how to incorporate honeycrisp apples into my diet. I am trying to stay below 50 net carbs daily so it will be interesting to experiment and see how they impact me.

I've been weightlifting for about a month and I have noticed since I have upped the amount of the weights that I feel a little dizzy afterwards. I have been LCHF since June. So, from what I read it appears that some extra sodium after a workout will help counteract the dizziness?

I have a major sweet tooth. I knew I needed to go cold turkey with no sugar or sugar substitutes, especially for the first month. After that, I added back in berries and occasionally have a protein shake or bar with sucralose or sugar alcohols, but I find that if I eat those too frequently that I start craving sugar again.…

I love my morning smoothie. It has 15 net carbs and 26 total carbs. 1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt 1/2 small avocado 2 cups spinach 6 strawberries 1/4 c blueberries 1/4 c water You can decrease carbs by adjusting fruit/yogurt if you are very low carb.

I met all of my August fitness goals! I walked 10,000 steps at least 5X's per week, I went to the gym at least 2X's per week, I lifted weights at least 2X's per week. Yea! Great challenge!

So far, I have hit my goal of 10,000 steps 5X's per week for both weeks. I have also met my goal of weightlifting 2X's per week. I am participating in weekly work week challenges on Fitbit with friends which is really helpful in getting me to reach my daily goals.
