This! I find when I am having issues that it's generally my water intake that is off.

I like smoothies in the morning because I don't generally like a heavy breakfast. I make one with 1/2 cup whole milk greek yogurt, 1/2 an avocado, 2 cups spinach, 6 strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup water. It's satisfying and has the consistency of a milkshake.

There are actually recipes on Pinterest for eggrolls in a bowl which has all the goodness from inside of the eggroll without the super high carb wrapper. Just search and you should be able to find one. Good luck!

Today I wore size 16 pants and a L shirt to work. A year ago, I was wearing 26/28 and a tight 3X.

I do but in a much more limited quantity. For example, I make chili with only half a can instead of the whole can. I order the burrito in a bowl but only eat about 1/4 cup. I love beans and didn't eat them for the first 5 months of the diet but have slowly worked them back in so that I can have them once or twice a week.

We do cake as well. I have managed to avoid it over the past few months. Whenever I really, really want something and think it is worth, I have it, log it and don't regret it. Life's too short!

I have an issue with sugar and have cut out processed foods and sweets. This helps. I also have increased my fat intake which makes me feel more satisfied. Best of luck to you as you try to get this issue in check.

If there is a way to reset MFP to do that I'm sure someone in this group has figured it out. For me, I just deduct the fiber from the carbs every day.

Good luck, Sarahb29!

I did not know that. Thanks for the info!

Last year I broke my elbow and upper arm and had surgery on both. Being able to shower was pure heaven. If you don't have a hand held shower, get one. Makes a huge difference. Hope you are able to get comfortable to sleep at night. Shoulders are tough in that respect. Best of luck in you having a speedy and complete…

I drink tea almost every day and have not had issues. I generally drink black teas, if that is helpful. I don't think drinking tea unless it is sweetened will be an issue.

This! I have to keep reminding myself that while my current weight loss is a big deal to me (almost 84lbs!) that I am still fat and that I still have a ways to go before I move out of that category.

I didn't exercise at all the first month. Now I mainly lift weights a couple of times a week and do Zumba one day a week. I also try to hit 10,000 steps 5X's per week and weather permitting try to hike one day out of the weekend. In terms of weight loss, you don't need to exercise but it does help in toning, cardiovascular…

Love my Fitbit Flex! It helps motivate me to move and I participate in challenges with friends almost every week.

I saute with a little olive oil and salt. I have made them with spaghetti sauce, in a carbonara or with a cheese sauce. Really great!

Way to persevere through December! I too felt like I couldn't catch a break-got sick, pulled a muscle when I went back to lifting weights later in the month, etc. Life will keep getting in the way and you will have to adjust to keep going. Staying on diet is key. Exercise makes you feel good, is great for cardiovascular…

So many choices! I just made chicken salad with green onions, mayo and pecans. I like to make a big batch of beanless chili or beef stew in big batches then save in individual portion containers. Cook chicken breast, shreds and can use in salads-taco, Caesar or add to stews and soups. I always make extra portions when I…

Get your Vitamin D levels checked. I was having 2-3 migraines per month. I had my yearly check up and found my Vitamin D levels were really low. I went on 8 weeks of mega doses of Vitamin D and I have not had a migraine in about 12 months. Not sure what the correlation is but maybe its contributing to your issue. Best of…
