I ended up making a simple and easy chicken soup using rotisserie chicken, chicken broth, and sautéed onions in butter. It was really good. Would have been more nutritious to have made my own broth but I just didn't have the energy.

I plan to stick with low carb foods (meat and veggies) but I am going to have some real dessert on Christmas Day. I don't really plan on going off plan otherwise. As a special treat, I have been roasting pecans with butter and salt and using it as a sub for sweets this month. Very good and satisfying but you have to be…

I generally don't eat sweets because I have a sugar addiction. When I want something sweet, I typically do berries with whipped cream. I have had real desserts a few times since I started in June on very special occasions. I will have a real dessert on Christmas.

I'm going to indulge on Christmas Day but only that day. Not going to go carb crazy but I do plan on having a piece of chocolate cake.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Great job! You should be proud of your awesome accomplishment!

I am 4lbs away from a 75lb loss. When I hit it, I am buying a Tori Burch Fitbit!

Started on June 1st and have lost 71. I limit my carbs to 50 net per day. I started off with 20 per day and have worked up to 50 adding back in berries and the occasional serving of beans.

You definitely need to do what's right for you. When I first started in June I deliberately turned down invitations where I couldn't control my food and I offered to be DD when there was a situation that involved alcohol. Since then, I have started bringing low carb friendly snacks and most of my friends and family are on…

1. Stay under 50 net carbs daily 2. Exercise 3X's per week 3. Lose 4 lbs by year's end 4. Log daily 5. Enjoy the holidays but don't go nuts, especially over sweets

I ate dressing which was awesome and every bit worth it! I substituted my typical sugary dessert with a baked apple, roasted pecans and whipped cream and felt extremely satisfied. I went over my daily carb limit but it was planned. I was still within my calorie limit and went back to my normal low carb lifestyle at the…

Net 50 and under. Generally stay in the 30-40 range.

I'm mainly sticking to low carb foods-turkey & low carb veggies, but I am going to have dressing because it's a once a year thing. I plan on baking a half apple with butter and cinnamon and adding roasted pecans and whipped cream for my dessert.

When I want something like sweets, which is the type of food that causes me to binge, instead I eat something really rich and satisfying like steak with butter and cream spinach. This is a really filling meal for me and helps me to avoid the sweet cravings which fuels binges. As a life long binge eater, I have found this…

Lunch time or after work. I choose these times due to convenience. I lift weights 2X's per week and try to incorporate a yoga or Zumba class once a week. On the weekends, I like to hike if the weather permits.

Once a week, maybe more if I am really close to a goal.

I generally eat between 30-40 net carbs but my limit is 50 net. I have had some total carb days in the high 70's but generally my total carbs are around 60.

I am also concerned about loose skin. I have lost 65 but need to lose a total of 150. I have already noticed some issues with skin on my upper arms. I have researched this issue and whether you will have it after losing the weight seems to depend on ta variety of factors: age, length of time you were overweight, how…

Yoga really stretches you out and I would consider it strength training. There are lots of different kinds of yoga and you can make modifications as needed based on your ability. I have been taking a vinyasa yoga class at my gym.

I didn't do anything for the first month because I wanted to focus on diet. Since then I have been exercising, especially weight lifting. I have quite a bit of weight to lose so I want to do my best to retain the muscle I have( I'm do everything I can to try to mitigate the amount of loose skin) I have also taken up yoga,…

I have varying rewards (from movies & foot massages to hiking boots and fall decorations) for certain milestones. Once I hit 75 down (I'm 10 away) I am buying the Tory Burch Fitbit bracelet.

I made zucchini lasagna and freeze it in individual portions. That appears to freeze well. I also put zucchini in my beef stew (freezes well). I like to make noodles and have eaten them with a large variety of things (spaghetti sauce, sausage and cheese, even made a carbonara). Haven't frozen noodles by themselves but have…

I have found that I have certain trigger foods that encourage binging. I have learned to avoid those foods. It helps. It took me a really long time to understand that there were just certain things I couldn't handle in moderation. I have only really had 1 binge in the past 7 months so this has worked for me. Good luck to…

Awesome! I take mine to a consignment store whenever I drop a size. It's a great feeling to commit to never wearing that size again!

Cheese!

I order beef pho without the noodles. Very filling with just the beef, broth, onions, jalapeños, lime and sprouts. The only real carbs are the onions and the lime juice (depending on how much you add). To me, its one of the better asian options.

Lifting weights 3X's per week, yoga, hiking.

I had to drive back to the office today from an overnight meeting, which means that I got in late and couldn't take a lunch break and I have a doctor's appointment after work, so no gym time available today. Instead, I have decided to do some housework when I get home which will at least give me some workout points. Life…
