Thank you, @itladyee for reminding people what an actual serving size is. Most bartenders far exceed this so if you think you are having 2 drinks you may be having 3.5 or more. My semaglutide is making me not want alcohol, praise God. And yesterday I read it is actually very good for repairing your liver. Win win win!

I am on day 2 AF too and though I did not sleep very well, at least my heart wasn't racing. My mood is so much brighter when I haven't been drinking. It is so obviously a poison to me and like Ruby, once I start I cannot stop. I just can't have the first one because it won't be the last.

@Womona you give yourself weekly injections. They start you on a small dose so it builds up in your system slowly. Otherwise you could get unpleasant intestinal side effects. LTF…yes, get off before the final destination. I look at my drinking like an elevator. I had better get off before it goes down to the basement. I'm going back on semiglutide for weight loss but it actually really curbs my drinking too. Win Win.

Thank you and my husband was actually VERY understanding about it. So my semiglutide journey begins anew. I just have to remember it automatically renews in 6 months so I need to be on top of that. @RubyRed427 I need a digital detox too. The news is terrifying. We just finished "Life on our Planet" on Netflix. It is visually stunning and overwhelmingly beautiful. It was a nice diversion from everything else out there.

I am going back on Wegovy. I lost 22 lbs being on it for 5 months in 2023 and I have gained back all but 6 lbs. The price has come down through my dr.s office so I am just throwing in the towel and using it again. My numbers should start to move again in about a week or so.

I'm going to go back on Wegovy. I have gained nearly everything back after a 2 year break from it. When I was on it in 2023, I lost 22 lbs and felt terrific. Now I am up 15 lbs. Ugh.
