I read somewhere that gym machines use gross calories burned and that wearable fitness trackers use net calories burned. I was going to look into it more but by that point it was wayyyyy after my bedtime and I was delirious. Haven't gotten around to it (yet)... But you should read up on gross vs net Burns.

I agree with @cathipa - go with the counter top mounted (suction cups) spiralizer instead of the handheld one. I bought a hand held one a couple years ago and used maybe four times ...it's so unwieldy and only works on narrower veggies. After rinsing my quinoa I put it in a pot and put it over medium heat and toast it (appx 5-7 min) before I add my liquid (I usually use chicken broth). Gives it a nice nutty flavor.

This happens to me too when I try it on the app. If I do this through the actual website it will disconnect. It still doesn't solve my fitbit/mfp communication problem though. I keep trying though.

Also when you're breathing your belly should be moving, not so much your chest and shoulders. Most people (according to my coaches in high school and my choir director) breathe wrong & don't get enough air when they are exerting themselves and get the stitches.

It used to show steps on my mfp. It no longer does, nor does it show a total calorie burn.

I'm having the same problem (fitbit not sending exercise data to mfp). I have been using the fitbit's dashboard to view my calorie goal for the day and disregarding the -red # that mfp is giving me.
