We don't have amazing snacks. Well, they aren't amazing at 10am. But by 3pm, they do start to look good. The afternoon is my downfall.

I had a good week re: goals to work out, yoga, some lifting, etc. But the scale just fluctuated among the same 2 pounds. Goal for today is a long cardio workout -- I always feel good after a long sweat!

Thanks for creating this! 25 by April 1 would be amazing, but I'd be happy with being down 15. My start score is artificially high with the alcohol and bad food bloat from New Year's Eve. Look forward to tracking my progress with all of you!

204.5 yesterday. True dream goal is 175, which I'd love to hit by Nov. My immediate short-term goal is 198 by Jan 21. I'm cutting back on the alcohol for a bit, too, just to see how much that plays in all of this.

By 10:30am yesterday, I'd eaten my calories for the day. And at the point, I just said, screw it.... 2 glasses of wine last night with dinner, a lovely night with my wife, and 9 hours sleep! I'm in a much better mood this morning. Goals: 1. Water water water 2. Plan menus for the weekend and go grocery shopping

@wellnesschaser I hear you about the backward slide. I've been sliding since Thanksgiving. But yesterday was a truly good day. Calorie total was under, and the morning cardio felt good. Planning for a repeat today.

So tell me your thoughts on rest days. I'm following a training plan, and today is a rest day. Which runs counter to my mindset that you must always burn some calories in cardio every morning to offset what you're going to eat during the day. Do you give yourself rest days?
