I'm in. I abandoned it all in March. A try-again month would be great!

I was going to "woo" this, as in, I think it is a great post. But after reading the "woo dialogue" a few pages back, ICT I have no idea when/whether it is appropriate to use.

That's my magic number, too. Add me and I'll follow along with your journeys. Why is it that some days, I can be so spot on with my calories ...and other days, just voraciously hungry and out of control?

I love this idea! My goal date is April 18. And coming off of eating a whole box of Girl Scout cookies yesterday, I am in desperate need of focus.
-
Yesterday was a pure sugar binge for me. Just unstoppable. Someone had to finish the Girl Scout cookies. So what 'woo' things do you have in mind? I might join along in your effort.

Intelligence.

I set goal dates, but truthfully, I am not doing as well as planned. I like @SabAteNine 's idea of milestones. May have to give that a trial run and see if I get better results.

This is depressing! [/quote] Really really hoping that I have a few more than 70!

Right there with you on my own addictions.

Totally off the rails this week. Especially yesterday. And it's stupid eating, as in, junk that's within reach. At least if it was an especially good bottle of wine, or a decadent dessert, I could say that I truly enjoyed it. But sandwiches and chips and cookies at a basketball thing... And I'm a guy that has no idea what…

Despite the issues -- would you buy another Fitbit? Looking at them here.

Morning run is done. Body feels 'ugh'....no real pain or misery, just a general sense of things not feeling as right as they could be. Still on a quest for running shoes. Saw a sign in the bagel shop window that said, "Free coffee for daylight savings time change". My thoughts were, in this random order: 1. *kitten*,…

Hmm, what is this HaloTop you speak of?
-
Not that department's, no. HYE just asked yourself "wtf am I doing ?"

52 with a goal of being/looking/feeling fit by Memorial Day. Which would be a whole lot easier to achieve if I didn't live in a city surrounded by great bars and restaurants and food trucks, with a wife who has never had to count a calorie.

Sounds like me at work/management meetings!
-
So true! A bunch of statuses is boring. But some comments on how your day is going, or your new fav recipe, or even just a rant about work = gold!
-
I know its unfair to blame the others around me on how I eat. But on weekends, it is really difficult for me to stay in control of what I do. Calorie counting is the toughest when I am home. Almost makes me look forward to Mondays.

I weigh-in most mornings and put it on the calendar. Its easier for me to see a trend, whether its going up or down. And also acknowledge the effects of alcohol and fast food lunches, and recognize the benefits of a few great workout days in a row, etc.

Not as much now, but there was a time when I actively hid if given the chance. HYE looked at the list of threads you follow here, and wonder why you chose some of them in the first place?
-
I do the same in my office. And if its an early morning, or a late night, you might hear the music blaring and catch me working my way down the hall a la Hugh Grant in Love Actually.
-
A tree house. HYE flirted with the Starbucks gal/guy?
-
I fell off the wagon here and feel fairly confident that I put 5 pounds on instead of 5 off. March re-set, anyone?
-
IC that it wasn't until I opened the second bag of Caramel M&Ms that I decided I didn't really like them.
-
I'm addicted to the movies on the Hallmark Channel. Finding true love in those last 10 minutes makes me tear up.
-
@Iscah13 Ok, so there's a story behind your endeavor. I was concerned you were mired in deep despair and looking for a new home.
-
Sure. HYE jeopardized someone else's promotion?
-
Some days I put the "in teleconference" sign on my door just so I can go a few hours without anyone stopping in.

^^ That's a great post. I can feel your energy from here!
