Just had to share. Just got done with my physical. According to my doc I'm no longer t2d. A1c is 6.1, fasting glucose 107. He is super impressed and I'm pretty thrilled. I get 2 free sessions at the gym I work out at. I'm waiting till I do a month straight before I use one of the sessions. My goal then will be to have my workout rated and improved.

Awesome thanks. I made some bags of walnuts and bags of low carb 8g cranberry mix. I did 2 servings per bag cause I'm not putting 2 half walnut pieces in a whole bag by itself lol.

Yup I do. Mostly get boneless pork chops or chicken though due to price. I unfortunately have to stay away from shellfish because those yummy bastads trigger my gout. :(

For the popcorn it's 4g carb for a 100 calorie bag. Baby carrots is 8g for 3oz. The slim fast shakes I use are 1g net per shake and 20g protein. I don't like nuts for the fact that 2 handfuls is 1/3rd of my calories for the day and does nothing for hunger. I'd rather eat 4 cups of salad. I do like nuts, I'd rather just be…

Pretzels get me so I have to avoid that isle in the store. Vodka's been a problem before too. Haven't touched it in 3 months though so not drinking 10k calories a night works wonders for weight loss!

Even though you can't swim, getting in the pool and doing lunges builds strength which might help with your knee too. You'll pe pretty supprised, it's hard after your first lap or two the first time or 3 you do it!

I cut sodas to two diet cokes or dr peppers per day max and just drink coffee and water besides that. I'll try kicking up the protiens. If I'm starving, I binge... on racewalking. Walk 15-20 min at over 3mph and you just got another fruit and veggie you can chow on.
