It was 60 degrees today & later in the week will be high of 26, so went out for 4 miles on Tra il.

[/url] Had to clean the whole house and put away holiday stuff, and was not going to run, but then remembered the challenge, so got in a 3.1slow run. Really glad I did!!!

Love hiking, I live near the Appalachian Trail near Roanoke VA. I have section hiked in several states and try to use most of my vacations for hiking. My favorite hike is McAfee Knob on the AT. Made it another 24 hrs. Got a great 3 mile hike in on the Blue Ridge Parkway(chilly and 35). I went to my boyfriends house for the night, wasn't sure if I could stay on track, but I did perfect, everyday that I make it another 24 hrs I feel stronger. Made it my first 24 hrs with food & exercise on track to make the 12 lbs by Christmas. It seems that by committing to others, it has helped me be accountable.
