Weird post.

I lost 120 lbs using MFP and have kept it off for almost 4 years now. It has to be a lifestyle change or it doesn't last. You can do it.
-
Welcome to the obsession.
-
I've never really felt the need to reward myself for losing weight. The weight-loss was reward enough, I suppose.
-
Been there. Up the protein a little more at dinner time, it will help satiate that feeling of hunger.
-
I lost 130 lbs simply by counting calories. I didn't focus too much on macros.

Will my body go into starvation mode if I only eat 850 calories per day?
-
I agree completely.
-
It depends on your goals. If your goal is just to lose weight, then the number you should be most concerned with is your overall calorie number. Weight loss = Calories In < Calories Out

I'm about 14-16% body fat, and I'm very vascular. I've been vascular since I hit about 22-24% body fat.

I didn't know other gyms had a max number of customers, and I do agree other gyms do not market as much to out-of-shape customers like PF does. There were nights I went in to PF and it felt like every single one of their customers showed up at the same time, LOL!

Likely. It was sad, we were all adults. It's not like we were in High School or anything.

This is most commercial gyms, this isn't only exclusive to PF. The difference is PF makes $10 per person per month while other commercial gyms make $30-$60 per person per month.

I was 275 lbs when I started running. I remember one day in particular when I went to our local track to run, and a group of muscular guys were playing football on the field. As I go out to run they started making fun of me, calling me "double cheeseburger" and other names. I just kept my head up, acted like I didn't hear…

I have a lot of respect for PF. Many people don't like their policies, but it is appealing to those who would never step foot in a gym otherwise. Yes, they serve pizza once a month. Pizza once a month isn't going to be detrimental to anyone's weight-loss. While I am no longer a member of PF because I needed a gym that…

Congrats on starting your journey. I've lost 130 lbs using MFP. Feel free to add me.

I feel bad for your toilet.

Only if you want an accurate count of calories that you're consuming.
-
I wish I could burn 3703 calories by only walking 5,000 steps!
-
I feel like my childhood has returned!
-
Not sure, but I hear it has negative calories.
-
What, meth?
-
Meth would make it pretty easy, too.

Thanks for the input everyone! Maybe Mehdi isn't as crazy as I thought he was, lol!
-
Great job! Like others have said, the calorie burn isn't significant so I wouldn't be too concerned with tracking it in MFP. However, you do want to track it. If you have a smartphone, there are great apps for planking you can download. A lot of them are free!

There are a number of reasons. Water retention, eating too many calories (which isn't likely the case), etc. Weight loss isn't uniform. Some weeks you will lose more, some weeks you will lose less. Even though MFP says you should lose X amount of weight, it doesn't mean you will always lose that much and sometimes you may…

Lol, I could tell this was troll bait the second time the user posted.

I log everything. Whether it has 5 calories or 500 calories, it goes into my food log.
