If you have a place to spit out the pits, cherries are the best for desk snacking. They're delicious, and each one takes a minute to eat because you have to eat around the pit, so it's impossible to eat them too fast.

Put that scale somewhere you can't see it for at least another week. Log EVERYTHING you eat, get those steps in and ignore the scale for a while. Weighing yourself constantly can be discouraging.

On Sundays, I cook up a pot of brown rice, and throw some marinated chicken and veggies on a sheet pan. Bake that up, let it cool 10 min, then chop and distribute in containers with the rice. Everything is ok in moderation. Just have one plate if you can, and enjoy your holiday! You won't be happy if you deprive yourself of a special day!
