  • When I saw my Doctor things were not as bad but she drew pretty in depth labs and Vit D and B were ok. She was thinking B might be low. I don't have a dietitian because I was a kind of emergency revisionist and changed to a new Surgeon. There were issues with my band not so much my eating habits. I will call and follow-up…
  • @hockey7fan thank you for responding. I did have a iron panel done in April and saw my Hematologist in May. It was fine, I'm thinking it's more hormonal but not sure.. I have a pretty demanding job and I'm hoping for some resolution to this soon.
  • Wow...I'm the only one who has had issues with fatigue this late in the game. I guess I should chalk it up to being a special case. I'm always one for standing out. Yeah me! ✨
  • Wow, that's great still losing almost 2 pounds a week after 15 months. I have about 35 pounds left to lose. I can't answer your question but congrats on your weight loss.
  • Well said.
  • I am hoping for success for you on your upcoming surgery. It has done wonders for me as a band to bypass revisionist. My Surgeon would not let me do the sleeve because he felt the issues I had with GERD etc. would not make me successful. I am almost 8 months out and I would not change a thing. I was a stress eater and…
  • Congratulations on your persistence, I think it makes a difference to track everything and be committed to a lifestyle change.
  • 10/21/14-RNY
  • My goals are: 1. Drink more water in each day. 2. Watch my carb intake as I try to introduce new foods in to my diet. 3. Stay motivated to lose the remaining weight I need to lose and be patient. 4. Not get frustrated with body size change and needing new clothes.
  • Oh yes it is Val, I really like my Fitbit. To be honest I was a bit lazy with moving before I got it. There are days now I have to slow down and rest because my calorie intake may not be that much and I can't over do it. It really is motivational. You won't regret the investment. Feel free to add me when you get your…
  • Lol "old dog learning new tricks". No your fine tuning your skills Val. We all have to do that from time to time. Welcome aboard!
  • Hi Kim, I had RNY but feel free to add me if you would like.
  • It's a good feeling, congrats to getting to onderland once again.
  • I don't like eating out. There are very few items I find that I can tolerate and I sit there staring at everyone else because I am finished eating first. I get anxiety about dumping in case I was not informed about an incredient. Also, I went to a well known restaurant and asked for a Nutrition menu and was told there was…
  • Hello, congratulations on your success and with no complications! I will add you as a friend I am a few days short of 7 months out.
  • Good job on the weight loss and so much in such a short period of time!
  • Good job, that's awesome you participated and completed it. Congratulations!
  • Wow! You look absolutely amazing. Congratulations!
  • You look great, good job!
  • Apps that have been helpful for me are 1. MFP-logging food, exercise and more. 2. Bariatric Pal (too numerous to list). 3. Bariatric timer-helps with not eating and drinking together and 3. Fitbit App for my Fitbit.
  • You look wonderful! Good job and you are definitely motivational speaker material. I read until the end.
  • Hi, I'm in a similar situation, my upper body is a problem my lower body not so much. I won't wear anything sleeveless I have about 40 pounds more to lose. The upper arms and breasts are just loose skin and I have back fat hanging off. Well, I wouldn't change anything from having the surgery and I don't have that money or…
  • Thanks for this thread, My family is doing well. My headaches are getting better, I accomplished a lot at work, I am at a plateau with weight loss but my coworker took long to say hello back because she didn't recognize me at first because I've lost so much weight and she said I keep getting skinnier & skinnier. Good times!
  • Thank you for your response, I looked in to it years ago prior to weight loss surgery and I was told about the physical therapy. I gained weight and it wasn't as bad. But now it's back again and worse. I will pursue it once again. I appreciate your time.
  • I hope all goes well with your first visit. It's hard waiting on insurance approval but it saves money in the long run for them to aid in weight loss. You can feel better and cut down on all the medical appointments and maybe some medications. Try to relax and do your part with your surgical team in the meantime. Have a…
  • Congratulations on your upcoming surgery Dustin. You will do just fine and keep us posted with all the new wonderful changes that go on in your life. I had revision from lap band to gastric bypass and some days are better than others but I don't regret it one bit. I'm almost 6 months out now and time flies by so quickly.…
  • Does anyone know why some insurance companies pay for the cost of post weight loss plastic surgery and others don't? I have really big breasts and losing weight causes a lot of back pain.
  • Congratulations, there's nothing like knowing your heading in the right direction.
  • I don't know what temperature you have the applesauce but colder is supposed to be better and natural applesauce has less sugar. One spoonful should be enough and the pellets should not be chewed. You should be swallowing it down. It's delayed release so it shouldn't be chewed. I hope you feel better soon. It will get…
