  • I'm truly amazed!! You look absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!! Great job!! B)
  • Work out clothes are getting cheaper, especially when it's in sale. Generally, I like the dry wick stuff so I don't feel so sticky and sweaty. But, invest in a good sports bar and shoes (especially if you run a lot).
  • Friends are nice. Feel free to add me as well.
  • Why are you starving yourself? Don't think of it as a diet. Eat what you love, but in moderate portions and like malibu927 said...eat a calorie deficit. As to the exercises...I don't lift so I can't give you any advice.
  • You're not alone! Lol! I had set up the account on MFP in 2012. Stopped cuz I thought I can do it myself ... and subsequently gained over 20 lbs. So I'm back on..and this time I won't quit! Feel free to add me as a friend and I will cheer you on! ;)
  • Wow! You can do it!! 2015 may be tough....but we will cheer you on the entire way!
  • Lots of running, hitting the weights, and 30 Day Shred... Plus I cut back on the carbs and up my protein
  • That's great news! Congrats!!! :D
  • Totally concur ^^
  • Probably too much. Kinda neurotic but I like to see the fluctuations throughout the day (plus I'm bored). But I'm the morning I only hop on the scare after I use the restroom in my undies (and before my morning protein shake). I only record when there is a drop. But to keep me motivated I stare at myself in the mirror and…
  • If you're exercising at home, keep it interesting. Switch out different DVDs and alternate them so you won't get bored. The key is to always move. As long as your body is moving... You are doing something. Everyone has to start somewhere. Don't compare yourself with other people. Listen to your body and listen to your…
  • Lol! Too bad we can't charge the kids for gas! I have three kids myself, and the younger two are super active. It's exhausting being a parent! ;)
  • I've taken diet pills before. I thought they work. I lost maybe 5-10 lbs (if I'm lucky). But I lost muscle tone and muscle mass. Your better off with a healthy diet and working out. Save your money.
  • I take GNC Lean Ripped Protein powders. For cardio, I take it about an hour before I workout...only because I run like 6+ miles and don't want the cramps. I like taking it before a workout because it gives me that added boost. On days that I work out really hard, I take 1/2 of my protein shake after the gym for muscle…
  • Don't give up! The scale is moving!! I know you said you only eat twice day, but maybe you should eat a little more often, but smaller portions so that (1) your metabolism stays engaged and (2) your body doesn't go on starvation mode. I know for me, I make sure I eat something in the morning so that I can kick start my…
  • Wow! All you ladies are pretty freakin' amazing!!!! So jelly ;)
  • It takes a little getting used to when you wear something different. Congrats on dropping the dress size. And like what everyone else said, flaunt it...or pretend to....at least for today.
  • Congrats! Play with the lights and angles all you want. You deserve it!!! ;) :p
  • I second the resistance bands since they are lightweight, portable, and easy to pack. I know the military has been doing pushups, lunges, chair dips, burpees, etc for years and they work great. The best part of these exercises is that you are using your own weight and resistance to tone your muscles. With the resistance…
  • I'm 5' (barely). I gained a ton of weight within 2 years long after I gave birth. My kids are bigger now and I haven't yet even gotten close to my pre-baby size. I've been on a mission to lose 51 pounds and I am almost half-way there.
  • Just try finding the little motivations in life. You can do it. For me: 1) I hang a cute outfit that I WANT to wear next to my mirror. So every time I pass by it, I get the guilt trip since I did spend money on it and it would be a waste not to wear it at least once. 2) On the super un-motivating days, I stare at myself in…
  • As long as you are doing some running and resistance training, you should not lose too much muscle mass (at least I don't think you will). You can buy some resistance bands (they sell them everywhere to include Walmart). The bands are good because they are small, light weight, and you can pretty much through them in your…
  • I'm soooo excited for you!! The first difficult step is deciding to take that step! Life is soo full of hurdles and challenges. Embrace them. Learn from them. Adapt and then overcome! You can do it! Make realistic changes that are easy and simple and you can do first. Don't try to overwhelm yourself. For me, I focused on…
  • Ooohhhhh Weddings are exciting! Congrats! I think you are perfect for what you are and should really look into getting that dress altered. It might cost you a bit, but its better than trying to kill yourself before the wedding. As to being tired all the time, I hope you are taking your vitamin supplements, especially if…
  • Happy Birthday too!!!!
  • OMG! I think I found my people in this thread...lol! I'm 5'0" tall and it pains me every time I gain a pound. Everything shows and it is already hard enough trying to find clothes that fit for "our" height. Forget about regular exercise pants, I always have to buy the capri version since it's waaay too big. I'm almost 35…
  • Oh this sounds like fun! Count me in!!!
