35 down, 50 to go :) Boobs don't disappear, so much as they deflate. They look like sad water balloons now. :( Seeing a new milestone number pop up on the scale can make your whole day better. Strength training works. Buying new clothes in new sizes is fun, but oh man is it pricey. Eventually you stop being so hungry -…

Went out to dinner with my other half, stared at the 1350 cal deliciously fried entree that used to be my favorite. Sighed and ordered the 600 cal caesar salad instead - still tasty and a treat, but kept me under my calorie goal for the day. Both the old size 14 pants in the closet and the new size 14 pants I bought last…

I'll hop on the scale most mornings, after peeing and putting in my contact lenses (so I can actually see the scale!) and log every couple days. My vanity weigh in tends to be Saturday or Sunday morning - not so much because I cheat on the weekends, but because I sleep really really late on my days off, and somehow that…

Couple little ones over the last week or so: Bittersweet - my favorite dress from last spring/summer is laughably big on me now. Feels good to see the progress, but man, I loved that thing! Oh well, excuse to go buy another one. Went in to buy new bras yesterday, and the fitter told me I was not only back down to a…

Coworker came back from a three week vacation, and the first thing he says to me is "You look slimmer, are you losing weight?" Victory!

I log mine seperately, but that's because I like a squirt of honey in my tea and I like to keep track of the calories/sugar. I actually made a custom tab for "Drinks" that I put things like tea and the occasional hot cocoa under (I'm not much of a coffee person).

For me, it was finding that I was 100 lbs over my high school weight, and almost sizing out of non-plus-size clothes, that pissed me off enough to actually fix it this time. It's a battle with various hormonal issues and a sedentary job with a culture of eating, but I'm going to make it happen. Losing my…

I might have to take that approach next time! Most of my coworkers know I'm trying to lose a significant amount of weight, but there's still a culture of junk food around here that I'm fighting against, and that tactic might help. Thanks for the tip!

Really similar, actually - 5'5", turning 28 in Feb, starting weight 235, down to 222, long-term goal 150. No kids, full-time sedentary job, been on the site for a month or so now. Add away~

I weigh myself most mornings, right after I get out of bed, use the toilet and put my contacts in (so I can actually see the numbers). It's a good motivator to see that next multiple of 5 getting closer, and if it goes up, I usually know why - "Oh, that was last night's dinner with my friends, there's my splurge for the…

Tiny one this morning: Being able to zip a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear in almost a year!
