And I'm also aware it's not a meal replacement, I eat fairly regularly and have a lot of protein in my diet, but it's never as much as I really need!

Thank you guys:) I know that protein powders won't aid weight loss in any way, I just meant which protein powders have low amounts of carbs and calories and high protein levels, as I know they vary from product to product.

In 2012 I found out I was pregnant through a miscarriage. I ended up being quite thin as, during the pregnancy, I thought I was just getting fat so I didn't eat as much. But after losing the baby I put on around 30lbs+ out of depression and binge eating. I didn't start losing weight until last year. I wasn't mentally ready…

Always looking for new people to motivate and be motivated by :)

I stay motivated by looking at how far I've come in 10 years (I used to weight 14 stone (196lbs)) and thinking, if I've made it this far and lost this much weight, the last 10 lbs should be no problem. I also stalk peoples fitness instagrams because if everyone else in the world can get to their goals, I have no excuse.

Air? I really don't think there's a lot of calorie free foods unless, as Snookums said, you want a diet of diet soda and water. Although, you burn more calories eatin celery than the calories it actually contains but I don't think a diet of just celery is very healthy.

Not a long amount of time, but seeing a difference in 10 days has definitely boosted me to keep going, knowing that my body has already started changing. You can do it!

Thanks for the help guys! A lot of these seem so obvious now that you've said them, but I went shopping last night and had a complete blonde moment and didn't know what protein food to buy. Learnt my lesson!

My dad passing away from a heart attack brought on by his weight. He weighed around 560lbs and his body couldn't function properly and eventually failed on him. I never want to get to that position, I never want to suffer like I saw him suffer and I want to make him proud more than anyone. I've had my ups and downs with…

Also, for those in office jobs, I've found this page which has some great ideas around the office: http://greatist.com/fitness/deskercise-33-ways-exercise-work

Thanks for all these suggestions, they're great :) We're in a small office and I always use the most far away water cooler.. which isn't too far away lol. Same with the toilets. I do however park 5 minutes down the road on most days (we have restricted office parking and most of the streets near us are permit parking only,…

I've found it's quite easy to get motivation in the winter purely because if I go to the gym I warm up quickly! I understand the struggle though, especially if my bed's nice and warm. But just keep thinking that if you work out, you'll warm up!

I've been in the same boat many a time, if you look up the term "yoyo dieting" you'd see my face right next to it! Feel free to add me, I'm always looking for support and to help others. It's one of the most important parts of this journey :)

My goal is to lose weight and tone up. Don't want to be amazingly muscly, just toned up. The jiggles gotten boring!
-
Yeah it definitely can be normal- I get the same thing with my legs. When I used to be a gym-freak I would always work on my legs and bum (because for some reason I became obsessed with lifting the most on the leg press!). I've just started going back to the gym, I'm lifting around 10kg less on the leg press than I used to…
