I consider it bad because fast food is usually junk, not because it is high in fat but because you have no clue what they are putting in their food. I am all for a fatty meal, especially if it your cheat day/meal or you can fit it in your calories, but I would consider most fast food places bad.

I think fake sugar is worse than real sugar, I wouldn't use any artificial sweetener personally.

Ok I actually didn't know that, I thought a plateau was when the scale didn't move for while. thank you so much this helps. Sometimes if I don't hear these things it is hard to find the motivation.

My calories are set at 1,480 a day so I can lose a lb a week. I don't want to go much lower because then I'm always really hungry. I rarely go over and I don't eat back all of my exercise.

Physically they are very attractive but like one poster said, I've seen more beautiful in person. They are also photo shopped and probably starve themselves.

Sugar is in excess, especially if you are consuming high fructose corn syrup, is bad. The problem with this is the fructose skips the rate limiting enzyme step in the glycolytic pathway, there is no regulation when using fructose so any excess energy gets stored as fat.

This is not true, you can stall if you eat too few calories which slows down your metabolism. You will also gain it back if you start eating like a normal person.

Nutrition is not that simple. I have a degree in it and my husband has a phd in it.
